And it uses an Arm CPU 😍
American glass. American metal. American silicon. American batteries. American workers. American everything. BlueChip is the first American computer in decades. Don't let anyone lie to you and say it can't be done. Designed in California. Built in America.

Just installed OpenWrt on my Netgear router and now I'm wondering why I didn't do that a long time ago (I would have installed NixOS on it if it had better support for MIPS, but I guess I'm a Nix larper)

How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

Linux minimum requirements: - RAM: ~8 bytes (can probably get away with 7) - CPU: a single transistor (optional) - GPU: doesn't matter (it won't get driver support anyway)

Growing up is realizing that some of these newly-discovered CVEs were probably just CIA/NSA backdoors

People act like Rust is some great language and yet when you ask for evidence, its supporters present very compelling and well-reasoned justifications for using the language. Seems a little suspicious if you ask me

It is true.
I challenge every Mormon on X to REPOST 🔁 this quote from your own church’s 5th president. Let’s see how many of you are willing to publicly stand behind it. “As man now is, God once was: As God now is, man may be.” — Lorenzo Snow, 5th President of the LDS Church #LatterDaySaints #LDS #ChurchOfJesusChrist #ComeUntoChrist #HearHim #BookOfMormon #BecauseOfHim #RestoredGospel #LDSChurch #MormonFaith

I found a way to speed up Rust builds by 10x... the project isn't ready just yet but I have some early numbers to share some details: - dissolve crates as the compile unit (@charliermarsh) - aggressively cache codegen on a per function basis - fine-grained span invalidation

Benefits of package wrapping with Nix: - I can have multiple versions of a program with different configs. - I can run it on any other Nix machine, for example `nix run github:pgattic/nixconf#neovim`. - I can easily declare environment vars per-package instead of globally.
