Former St Balikuddebe Market Chairperson Susan Kushaba has been charged with three counts of allegedly publishing defamatory TikTok videos accusing government officials of fraud, embezzlement and land grabbing, including claims involving Kampala Minister Minsa Kabanda, State Minister Joseph Kyofatogabye and Muzamir Milundi Katumba. She appeared before Buganda Road Chief Magistrate Ritah Neumbe Kidasa. #MonitorUpdates 📹: Juliet Kigongo

Meanwhile Ms. Susan Kushaba, their own NRM supporter has been charged and remanded to Luzira for two weeks. Although she stands charged with defamation, her real crime is that several of her agents in the last election came to testify against election-thief Kabanda and confirm the massive fraud. In fact, Ms. Kushaba didn't need to allow or not allow her agents to come forward - these are adult citizens who made their own decisions to testify, and witnesses came from different parties. Since then, she started receiving threats and was told to apologise or face consequences. The threats have extended to the agents who testified - be it @NUP_Ug supporters or those from other parties. If you don't want evidence to be given about you, simply DO NOT COMMIT CRIMES. Sickening impunity!

Ilhan Omar's political journey and re-election bring this debate into sharp focus. America is experiencing a major debate about national identity. Question @CharlesTwiine : Is citizenship defined by ancestry, birthplace, or constitutional rights and participation in democracy?

Museveni never stops talking about the "African spirit." So where is it now? Why did Ugandan soldiers fight and die against al-Shabaab in Somalia for 20 years, if Somali territory is now being handed back to al-Shabaab?
All year, General Muhoozi kept saying Uganda should leave Somalia. Most dismissed it as social media noise. Somali sources tell a different story: the message wasn’t coming from Kampala, but from Abu Dhabi. UAE’s targets: Türkiye’s planned spaceport at Warsheikh and its oil exploration off the Somali coast. The plan: strip Somalia of its security shield before they’re built. Uganda’s exit is step one. barazabrief.com/2026/11/what…

Trust me, it’s coming his way & very soon. In his efforts to eliminate his enemies, just like his father, Muhoozi has created more enemies around himself &their numbers continue to grow by the day, especially within the military. We may soon witness a power vacuum & a bizarre struggle for power, reminiscent of the chaos that followed the regimes of Lule, Binaisa, and Okello. History has a way of repeating itself when leaders fail to learn from it.

We've been notified of the abduction this evening of our comrade Blood Mo from Iganga. Onlookers say many armed operatives came to where he was and whisked him off to an unknown destination thus far. And the violations continue😠 #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersInUganda

I have watched Salim Saleh say he visited @kizzabesigye1 and found him "almost dead," and that he ensured KB's transfer to JCRC. Are we, as Besigye's supporters and comrades, expected to be grateful that a man in critical condition was moved from prison to a clinic? Isn't medical attention a basic right, not a Favour? More importantly, how did KB's health deteriorate to this point in the first place? Isn't his condition a direct consequence of continuous state persecution? It is deeply frustrating when the state subjects innocent citizens to torture, only to turn around and paint itself as an angel of mercy. #FreeBesigye

Mass graves, naye tulikuki!!!!!
I have just received corroborating information from three independent sources in the SFC, none of whom knows the others, that JohnBosco Kibalama was shot and killed by Asaph Nyakikuru Mweteitse using a PK light machine gun. According to these sources, his body was buried in a mass grave at the Special Forces Command (SFC) headquarters, near the perimeter wall of the late George Kanyeihamba’s house. The sources further prove that the same mass grave contains the remains of 357 other Ugandans who were abducted before, during and after the 2021 military operation masquerading as a general election. Before his reported killing, Kibalama had suffered paralysis, much like our comrade Sam Mugumya. The information I have received also indicates that Sam Mugumya was facing a similar fate. According to the accounts, had videos showing his condition not been released, he too would have been shot and killed. Following the circulation of those videos, he was transferred to another house near Mbuya and his guards courtmartialed, other inmates transferred to Nakasongola barracks. The sources have proof in form of evidence, they need protection as witnesses, and also need to first be evacuated.

Very pleased to welcome back comrade Olivia Lutaaya from detention. Olivia has paid such a heavy price for simply believing that Uganda deserves better. Out of the 6 years of @NUP_Ug, she has spent 5 years in detention at various times over trumped up charges. Despite the grave persecution she has endured, she is still committed to what she believes in. Welcome back comrade! Uganda will be free.
