Revealed: Gov. Reynolds’ new state logo campaign is funded with federal money. So, she refuses federal money for things that would actually help people – like public schools ($95M) or childcare ($30M) – but has no problem spending it on an ad campaign? thegazette.com/state-governm…

When Democrats had control of the House, they passed the American Rescue Plan, a bipartisan Infrastructure bill, the first major gun safety legislation in decades, the CHIPS Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the PACT Act and the Respect for Marriage Act. Republicans have had a dude fight, a cat fight and a BS censure vote. Any questions?

Republicans, is this what you voted for? The banning of poetry? How is this freedom? How do you sleep at night?

Wow, cutting public school funding already. Vote better Iowans. Your children are suffering.
Walking into an appropriations meeting where we’ll be voting on a $22,057,131 cut to the AEAs and adding $107,406,803 for the first year of vouchers for private schools.

Sooner or later they will come for you. Vote better.
Meet Idaho Gov. Brad Little. Yesterday, he signed a law making “abortion trafficking” of a minor a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison. What the is abortion trafficking, you might be wondering? Imagine a brother takes his 17 year old sister out of state to get an abortion and they don’t tell their parents. Imagine a 17 year old lives in an abusive home and asks the parents of their best friend to help them get an abortion without telling their folks. Both of these “crimes” could lead to five years in prison. Brad, and the men behind this bill, are assholes seeking to control people’s lives and bodies. Don’t be like Brad. Abortion isn’t a crime. It’s health care.

Heart. Gabbie Marshall has it tenfold.
99.9% of humans on the earth don’t even have the physical capacity to do what Gabbie Marshall did last night.. let alone the switch to actually do it. I wish we had GPS data on her because she basically ran change of direction sprint intervals for 2 hours straight.

Caitlin Clark has 161 points and 52 assists in this NCAA Tournament. Since 2000, it's one of six instances of a player having 150 points and 50 assists in ANY 5-game span. All six of those belong to Caitlin Clark.

Republicans will force a 10 year old to carry her rapist’s baby to term, let a 6 year old carry a gun, permit a 12 year old to work an 8 hour shift in a meat packing plant and allow a grown man to marry a 14 year old with a Judge’s consent, all while telling us that the reason they’re banning drag queens, gender affirming care and books about Rosa Parks is because they want to ‘protect our kids.’ Bullshit.

As a NICU/PICU nurse, I’ve seen it; as a parent, I’ve experienced it, and your article always makes me cry. This photo strikes at my very core. I tweeted this yesterday and you need to know we see & love your beautiful family every day.

Please women, vote better. Women deserve appropriate health care.
cw: pregnancy loss I live in Alabama, a state with a total abortion ban, and was so overjoyed when I found out I was pregnant last month. I’ve been doing everything right. Stopped caffeine, took my prenatal vitamins, followed every rec. But I started bleeding on Tuesday.🧵

Gov. Kim Reynolds puts out statement on the Starts Right Here charter school shooting. Compare to how she described the East High School shooting last year: "I think the tragedy is our system, our educational system is letting these kids down."
