This CMC issue could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
Social-media criticism can be ignored, and even private legal threats can be managed quietly. A formal regulatory complaint is different because it can create an official record and force the issue into a process outside CMC’s control.
If the relevant authority investigates and makes findings, those findings or any enforcement action can become part of the public record and, depending on the jurisdiction and regulator, may be formally published or gazetted. Regulators may also have powers to impose penalties, require corrective action, or refer matters elsewhere.
Once there is an official finding, the issue is no longer just a dispute within the BSV community. It becomes evidence that journalists, investors, lawyers and other authorities can examine independently.
And if people can show that they relied on the 21-million maximum-supply figure, or were adversely affected when that information was changed, an official finding could become important evidence in later civil claims — potentially including coordinated or class-action proceedings where the legal requirements are met.
So what looks like a negative development may actually create the first real opportunity to move the issue out of our own circle and into a formal public record.

First time I see total fees at 2.5 bsv on 2 consecutive days. If it continues tomorrow that's a trend. It's the one thing that can't be suppress. Bsvtube enables backup of your YouTube videos on chain. At 1 sat per kb a five minute video at 70 MB cost 0.0007 bsv to upload. At 2.5 bsv it is just under btc 3 btc a day. Interesting days ahead.

This simple $4 test, executed in 11 minutes, would have broken most blockchains and cost a fortune; except for the only one that scales without limits. Bitcoin SV.
Bitcoin was designed to serve the world. It should scale to serve it?
BSV is generating growing transaction-fee revenue. New applications are coming online. AI is putting development into the hands of ordinary creators.
Meanwhile, BTC restricts on-chain capacity and relies on Lightning to scale.
$81,000 for a Fiat Bambino. $20 for a Lamborghini.
Both aim to do the same job.
Which should you buy?

Bitcoin’s next halving is expected around April 2028, cutting the block subsidy from 3.125 BTC to 1.5625 BTC.
BTC would need to rise to around $166,000 to preserve the current dollar value of the mining subsidy.
Strategy (MSTR), Bitcoin’s largest corporate buyer, could face reduced access to capital, reducing its ability to raise money and continue buying BTC at the same pace.

Record the Race is a dance anthem about the power of names, labels and cryptocurrency listings. BTC, BCH, BSV, XEC—which is Bitcoin? The song challenges market platforms to describe every claimant accurately and fairly, without declaring the technological race over. Let usefulness, scale, economics and real-world adoption speak. Record the race. Don’t run the race. Don’t tilt the scale. #Bitcoin #BSV #BCH #BTC #XEC #RecordTheRace
CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko present BTC as Bitcoin and connect it directly to Satoshi and the white paper.
But if BTC has materially changed, is that overall impression still accurate?
They record the market. They should not decide it.
What we call Bitcoin today may not be the Bitcoin that wins.

Who changed Bitcoin SV’s maximum supply on CoinMarketCap?
January 9, 2024: 21,000,000 BSV.
January 10, 2024: Gone from the displayed field.
Who authorised the change? What justified it? Did CoinMarketCap follow its own published procedures?

What did Jeffrey Epstein have to do with Bitcoin?
Newly released records reveal connections involving Brock Pierce, Coinbase, Blockstream, Joi Ito, MIT, and the funding of important Bitcoin developers.
This video follows the timeline into the blocksize war and asks a simple question:
Was the dispute really just about 1 MB blocks — or was it also about who would shape Bitcoin’s future?
