A little note to our new and prospective users, from the creator 👇
A short note for those who stumble upon @phibrowser while browser shopping, perhaps because @arcinternet decided to go radio silent in December 👇
Phi is NOT a vibe-coded piece of slop. Nor is it a one-person hobby project with no clear path to sustainability and an uncertain future. DRM playback (with Google's widevine module) is legitimately and natively supported. Try vibe-coding that.
There are about 20 living souls behind the making of Phi. Phinomenon Inc. was founded in SF in 2025, following a $10M Series A raise. We're building for the long haul, and we're still hiring aggressively btw, check out our Jobs page if you fancy joining the madness.
Code can be generated by agents, and we use the best ones out there. But taste cannot be prompted into existence. Neither can the thousand intricate little details, the thoughtful decisions, or the human craftsmanship that make a piece of software genuinely delightful to use. You can generate 1000 lines of code in seconds. Knowing which 10 lines shouldn't exist in the first place is another matter.
Phinomenon is not interested in who you are, not what you browse, not what you search for at 2am in the morning, and certainly not the things you'd rather nobody knew about. That's your business, not ours. Our business is to build the best browser and AI tools we possibly can, and to earn your trust by making something worth using. We put this principle right at the top of our Privacy, and we mean every word of it. Privacy shouldn't be a premium feature, a marketing gimmick, or something you have to take our word for.
Phi Browser is developed in the open. We take feedback seriously. We respond to GitHub issues with actual human beings typing on actual physical keyboards (an increasingly exotic concept in this industry). When something is broken, we try to fix it, and more often the fix makes it into the following week's release. No elaborate corporate theatre required.
Phi browser is a living, breathing browser, built by people who give a 💩, and getting better with every release. We're not here to cash in on a trend, ship a shiny wrapper, and quietly disappear when the next shiny thing comes along.
We're here to build something that lasts. (for receipt, by the way, the last thing I built is @FydeOSHQ 11 years ago and it is still kicking)
& we'd love for you to be part of it.
We built this feature to help all Arc users to 100% one-click house-move: all your spaces, profiles, bookmarks, pinned tabs, all in one go 🚚🚚🚚
Give Phi Browser a try 😌
Phi Browser comes to Windows!
We just shipped the first public release build for Windows 👇

Feedback / issues welcome ✨😬✨
Three alternatives, opened as actual tabs in Phi.
The useful prompt detail: tell it where the results should go. Then check the provider pages yourself.
Try the prompt with a tool you're comparing
Stop switching tabs just to write something down.
Option-click your notes tab in Phi. Keep the article and your notes side by side.
An interesting use case for "Peek" view
Using preview mode in @phibrowser rly made my X exploration in Laptop so smooth.
Whenever I see some interesting profiles, I would press Shift + Click the person's profile link, and it would appear in preview mode, then I could either:
Cmd + O to open it
Esc or Cmd W to close it
Press the split view to split it
Power browser user is essentially to learn those short cuts and small features that empowers your daily browsing workflows
One click house move (from @arcinternet @zen_browser) is now supported 🚚 😬
A "slightly outdated" Phi Browser features walkthrough and showcase from the creator, can't blame we are moving forward too fast 😬

Made a "full" feature walkthrough video showcasing what we have built for Phi Browser so far; but the app and feature development outpaced my video post-production 🫠
I was hoping to contain it within 20mins, no luck. The basics will still make sense👇

If you are using @raycast , check out our Raycast extension 😌 ( keyboards on fire 🔥

"Peek" view is an overlay for links clicked on pinned tabs and bookmarks, so your saved destination won't drift away. Hold shift key on open tabs while clicking on a link also triggers the link in peek view overlay 🫣
Available now in 2.8.0 -> phibrowser.com

We lost @phibrowser for about a day to a targeted phishing attack. I was being stupid.
We had the password back within the hour, but the attacker had already added 2FA, so we were locked out while they ran a fake $PHI token from our account 🧵
Missing Arc? Spaces, Profiles, URL Rules are in Phi 2.0. Plus a resident AI agent Arc never had. Built for humans, ready for agents.
Phi Browser 2.0 is out.
Spaces and Profiles: every side of your life gets its own tabs and logins. Stop showing up to Google as the wrong you.
Plus a smarter assistant, local AI guardrails, and Memory Nebula.
Built for humans. Ready for agents.
Stop showing up to Google as the wrong you. Phi 2.0 gives every side of your life its own Space: tabs, logins, cookies-deep. Arc muscle memory welcome.
Mac のための AI ブラウザ、Phi。
Spaces と Profiles で、仕事と私用のタブとログインをきれいに分離。
AI エージェントは同じタブの中で動き、操作はいつでも自分で引き取れます。
Arc からの乗り換えにも。
We have not forgotten our Windows friends. All the bells and whistles are being re-written in WinUI for the smoothest possible friction. Progress so far ✨👀
that's the real split, yeah. it turns on whether your spaces are different contexts of one identity or different identities outright. per-space pins follow when each space is a different you; profile-bound pins follow when it's one you doing several things. we optimised for the second case.
🚀 Phi Browser v2.5.0
The highlight of this release is pretty self-explanatory 👇
