✅ The Rance Series I'm so overwhelmed by the finale so I'll write a special text trying to summarize my experience with this series... a journey that started in July and ended today. Over 10 games, over 30 years of effort from the Alicesoft team, artists and TADA. I'm really grateful to them for creating this masterpiece. Years and years of context, characters, conflicts, foreshadowing, etc. Just so you know, I actually dropped Rance 01 last year and day after day this inexplicable urge came over me to play Rance and understand the greatness of this series. Of course, I'll be 100% honest, I initially went for the eroge aspect and that gets so sidelined as you become fascinated by this world and characters I don't regret spending 700+ hours playing all of this. Despite some moments where I got pissed off with the gameplay, it was a rewarding experience. Decided to learn japanese solely to play Rance X, it was torture at the start but my love for this series was bigger (still not very good at the language). And what a game, my friends. Definitely one of the best experiences I've had in my life, I loved every second, every plot twist and I listen to all the OST daily or suddenly notice insane connections It's funny to remember that they had no idea how to end the series and the very existence of Rance 5D is the result of a "creative collapse" because they didn't think they could create something better than Kichikuou. But they did. And it's the final game. I'm going to miss Rance's laugh so much, Sill's *sob*, Kanami's screams, Shizuka's scowling face, Crook talking about shells with Rance, Reset being the cutest thing in the world, and many other interactions that would make a huge list Now talking about the more technical part of the game. I got no heavy complaints. Gameplay is amazing although there are some confusing events or ones that honestly feel like the team just gave up halfway through. If i'm not mistaken, After Story was supposed to be like a Part 3. Gotta admit I wanted to see the conclusion of some characters or even a battle against ALICE. But the feeling of satisfaction is way bigger than the incompleteness. I'll always remember this story, for eternity 01 was fun, 02 I grew to like it more over time, 03 was KINO, IV has an absurdly expanded lore in X, 4.1 and 4.2 made me laugh a lot, 5D has my beloved Rizna, VI has my beloved Urza, Magic and so many fascinating characters. Sengoku with a phenomenal gameplay. Quest being also one of the best things I've ever played. Helman Revolution delivering the peak of war and romance. And lastly, X bringing the biggest possible combo of PEAK FICTION I LOVE RANCE and I really wish people would give this series a chance even though it's extremely long and some games aren't that great, because this whole journey will be worth it in the end. If you're not crazy enough like me, the ENG release is pretty close. Of course, my journey isn't over yet because this game is huge. I'm extremely satisfied and sad right now that it's over.... but I had fun. Gahahahahaha!

some "scrapped" events are awesome. It's hilarious seeing Crook scolding the God who created the world like he's a spoiled brat, and even more absurd to think that Rance became the father of the being who created this whole universe. Genuinely phenomenal writing
