OMG Jerry O’Connell just butchered the boy’s name twice more and then mistakenly told another contestant he got a question correct when it was, in fact, wrong. 😑
Watching the National Civics Bee on @cspan—super entertaining, but there’s no excuse for the host not to have practiced the names of these children beforehand. By the 3rd time of asking a contestant how to pronounce their name, it becomes embarrassing. Perhaps write it down?
