Nowadays everyone is always asking for the WiFi password. Back in the 1950s however, this was not the case

I think one of the most shocking things about tech is that a huge number of people watched the social network and read it as “this is a cool guy” and not “this is the biggest sociopathic loser in history” (the obvious intent, even back then)
> be me
> Jessie Eisenberg
> *plays the most iconic role ever for techies in the social network*
> inspires an entire generation to become engineers and founders
> plays a classic mega nerd
> acts like an aboslute g
> real guy has a bowl cut and acts like a lizard
> still wears "fuck you flipflops" and stands on business
> "I never really paid attention to the real person, I just try to embody a relatable character" - Jessie Eisenberg in an interview about his characters
> *Mark sees the film*
> claims some aspects are real while others are dramatized
> there's an obvious undertone of "I wish this was me"
**Fast forward five years...
> Mark transforms his appearance into a complete chad
> takes on the persona of the movie character
> appears on joe rogan to disucss UFC, steaks, and testosterone maxxing
> even gets the same hairstyle
> be jessie eisenberg
> portray a man that inspires an entire generation
> inspire the very man you portray to be like you

Smartest Tesla owner asking the question “Is it appropriate to drive through a crime scene when a cop shouts to you to not go through there”
I was driving home from seeing a movie with my kids while using FSD. Suddenly encountered a cop car with its lights flashing - the car was blocking off the road. FSD came to a stop and then tried to creep around the car while the cop was grabbing a gun out of his trunk. 🤯 I had to disengage to avoid pissing him off. I rolled down my window and asked politely if I could go through there. He said, “No, you gotta pop a U-turn.” That’s when I saw 3 police hiding behind bushes and waiting next to someone’s front door. A man came running into the yard where two cops peacefully detained him. Not sure if that man was the main threat, but I was off the scene from there. How should FSD handle these situations when a driver isn’t in the driver’s seat? Is it appropriate to drive through a crime scene when a cop shouts to you to not go through there?
The most insane part of this is that bill maher doesn’t have any kids who would’ve taught him the word “GOAT”. He’s just a 69 year old man who learned and started using the word GOAT
Bill Maher fires back at Larry David for his essay "My Dinner With Adolf," which satirized Maher calling President Trump "gracious" and "not fake" after visiting the White House.
"It’s kind of insulting to six million dead Jews. ... The minute you play the ‘Hitler’ card, you’ve lost the argument. Hitler has really got to stay in his own place. He is the GOAT of evil. We’re just going to have to leave it like that.”

I really mean this: Palmer Luckey is one of the most evil men in the history of tech. You can debate the ethics of generative AI but this guy looked at it and was like “oh damn this would make killing people wayyy easier”
“Your Tesla has better AI than any military aircraft.” — Palmer Luckey, CEO of Andruil, who earned a standing ovation at TED today.
“Countries only go to war when they disagree who the victor will be.”
“We have to prove we have the capacity to win.”
“Manufacturing capacity is our greatest vulnerability. We need more manufacturing and smarter weapons. AI is the only possible way we can keep up with China’s numerical advantages.”
AI making the kill decision: “I love killer robots.” (Prelude to his more serious answer that we have been doing this already for many years, and it’s the inevitable future).
You are not making enough money. You pay too much in rent. You sleep too much and you don’t have enough dumbasses crammed into a room in Sunnyvale. Your startup is dogshit. If you ever feel a sliver of joy or comfort, that is at the cost of your financial success
