One prominent thing I’ve noticed with government jobs is - link of trines with each other Lagna, 5th lord and 9th lord share a prominent relationship with each other Also 6th house needs to be exceptionally strong This is something seen when 6L is not connecting with 10H in D1

Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Rahu DO NOT do well in 9H, as 9H is God and these planets are from the Asura camp. This is irrespective of the ascendant. Jupiter, Mars, and Sun do very well in 9H as these are from the Deva camp.
