Pinned Tweet
This was the very first tweet that the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries said was "professional misconduct" and below it the explanation of the context that I gave to the Disciplinary Tribunal Panel
1. ‘Islam needs urgent reform (if possible?). The majority of its victims are Muslims who live under repressive, backward regimes. It still inspires far too much terrorism, child marriage, & hatred of Jews/gays. It is very sad that in 2020 it has barely changed for centuries.’
This was in response to a tweet from a person claiming to be a Muslim sharing a video of two children with their bare feet bound through metal bars being beaten on the soles of their feet, an extremely painful and dangerous practice known as bastinado and regarded as a form of torture. The individual stated that the person who taught him/her the Quran did the same to him/her when he/she was 5 years old. My tweet is an expression of opinion having seen that the Jewish population of many Islamic countries has reduced dramatically, and that homosexuality is punishable by death in many Islamic countries. My comment reflects (as demonstrated by the tweet I was responding to) that many Muslims suffer under poor human rights within Islamic countries.

Next time, invest the billions donated to you in civilian infrastructure instead of infrastructure for terrorism and hatred.

Yeah.
Tell that to the 30,000 boys who drowned in the mud in the first 45 minutes of the Somme.
Show some respect for those who gave their lives for your luxury beliefs.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Heck, @carolecadwalla, you've gone stark raving bonkers. I'm horrified how much you've degraded yourself over the last 6 years.
Multiple med/pre-med students at the University of Michigan were caught planning to poison future patients if they weren't "aligned with Palestine" while also planning to kill fellow students and teachers.
U of M refused to condemn their actions.
The rhetoric and actions taken by the eight people indicted in the University of Michigan conspiracy case was not just extreme. It was violent, threatening, and openly conspiratorial.
According to the indictment, one defendant said: “I’m gonna be the dirtiest f**king doctor ever.”
Another said: “get into that house then burn it down.” 🧵

Krakow, tonight. A church packed with people. Praying for the victims of yesterday's attack. The Polish are a great people. They don't give up. They stay standing.

Please don’t share this. Talcum X has often judged folx by the company they keep or celebrate; we shouldn’t now do it to him.
Thank you 💋

Remember when Hamas made their own PR video showing them digging up pipes in Gaza and using them to create rockets to fire on Israel?
Well now they have no water and sewage system and they have flooding and guess who is to blame for that?

I 100% agree with this. I was on a BA flight. The woman next to me asked if the meat was Halal. The steward confirmed it was. There was nothing to indicate it was. I wrote to BA about this & just received a letter full of platitudes & meaningless verbiage back.
I have introduced a bill to introduce compulsory labelling of halal and kosher meat.
Consumers have a right to know what they are eating. Yet every day people are consuming halal and kosher meat without knowing it - that’s meat where the animal has its throat slit and often is not stunned before slaughter.
At its heart, this is a straightforward proposal built on consumer choice, animal welfare and transparency. It is not about banning halal or kosher meat but about the compulsory labelling of it, which is currently only voluntary, so as to ensure consumers know what they are buying.
What began as a limited religious exemption has become an increasingly significant part of meat production.

A remarkable and deeply moving photograph capturing the first two minutes of silence in London, 106 years ago on Tuesday 11th November 1919.
The first time a grieving nation held its collective breath.
Lest we forget.

Regulators will not investigate mosques in Manchester which a Green Party official said endorsed political parties, despite this potentially breaking the law.
