An Uber to the bars used to cost like $4 back in the day. But then it went public/stopped being subsidized by VC money, and the average ride started costing like $25. Same thing will happen with AI. Once Anthropic or OpenAI go public, it’ll cost you a lot more. One day you will pay $100 for a basic request and look back and think about how you had history’s most effective software tools at your fingertips practically for free and did nothing meaningful with it. Build something cool while you can.
