Update pnpm to v12.15.0 if you want to be able to split settings across files. For instance, you can move security policies to a protected file.

New pnpm RFC for anyone interested: the possibility to load settings from multiple config files. This would allow to control who can change specific settings via git policies and similar toolings

pnpm can now work with no node_modules, leveraging the esm loaders of node.js. Doesn't work with typescript and other toolings that inspect node_modules but works with bare Node.js. Related docs: pnpm.io/store-loader

Cannot believe my first PR was merged to @pnpmjs it's my default package manager for few years, never thought I will contribute to it one day, but the most important thing I need to give kudos to @zkochan , he has been putting so much in building the package manager we all love.
He loves the project and it shows, he was working on taking my PR to the stage so it can be merged at 12 in the night.
Go ahead and support the project if you use it, convince your employer to sponsor if you can.
