i dont blame boomers and older gen x for looking for a safe alternative where to take there kids they thought doing in their local church is safer then the nieghborhood i got invited to trunk or treat by the local evangelies because i was a high school athlete but even in projects trick treat was probably calm though yuo did have some little wanna be cholos trying to paper homes and a few fights but nothing too bad ngl.
Trunk-or-treat quietly destroyed Halloween, and nobody wants to admit why.
Instead of kids exploring neighborhoods, learning independence, and knocking on doors, parents park 40 SUVs in a sterile church lot at 3 PM to hand out candy in 15 minutes flat.
