I don't mean for this to be confused with complaining, as I'm just sharing my thoughts, but after getting home and playing all of the new heroes in game, I feel a little disconnected from some of them. These heroes feel vastly different than any hero release we have gotten in my 2+ years of playing this game. Rat king doesn't require much thought in his ability usage, you can unironically mash your keyboard and get value out of your spells easily. This wouldn't be an issue if his abilities were not as crazy/complex mechanic wise as they were. Violet is a homunculus sin of being. Her whole entire build revolves around the cool down factor in her 1, her design makes no sense given the items she's building. She's like this scrawny/squishy mage looking hero that has cool spirit abilities literally being built as a tank with barriers/radiant. She suffers from the same problems that rat king has, you can legit mash 1 on your keyboard, press 4, w/out even using your 2/3 and you're getting full value in a team fight. Rat kings ult and violets ult seem to be uncounterable by any means, other than not interacting/fighting (bad game design imo) Outside of that, the other heroes aren't as bad, but as I said this batch is hella different than any of the other heroes. It's kinda like aphelios from league where the heroes just do a million things Yes, the game is still in early beta, but I'm ngl that card is such larp, the game has 300k players. This is no different from some complicated 2026 situationship 🤣 It is their game and they can do what they want, but imo these heroes do not fit in with the rest of the cast at all, they'll probably need to rework alot of kits down the line Enjoy this photo I took of a monkey (we are friends)
