#SEOstrategy changes a lot when you stop asking, "What can we rank for?" and start asking, "Which problems does this business solve?" The two questions can take you down very different paths. One makes you chase traffic, while the other makes you chase leads. #positiveequator

One unintended consequence of shining a torchlight on @inecnigeria and the 2023 irregularities is that, while Nigerians now understand the many ways an election can be rigged, that knowledge can also breed distrust and voter apathy. I read the @YIAGA National Voting Intentions Survey that came out a few days ago, and one in four respondents said that a lack of trust in INEC could stop them from voting. Let’s be realistic: we won't have a completely free, fair, and credible election in 2027. That is not likely. The only way out is the scale of our collective engagement with the system. The progress we need in 2027 will come from overwhelming the system with citizens: asking questions, demanding answers, voting, documenting everything, and staying engaged through voting and collation. That is also why we are building technology that helps citizens follow results and scrutinize the process in real time In 2027, voting and waiting for results to be announced at the polling units WILL NOT be enough. We should hold night vigils at all ward collation centers across Nigeria. In the coming weeks, we will aggressively publicize the locations of all 8,809 ward collation centers so that citizens can move from their polling units to the ward centers. Nobody should go home from the polling unit. If 500 young Nigerians are present at each of the 8k+ ward collation centers on election night, it will put INEC officials and ad hoc staff on notice that citizens are watching. It will make it harder to cut corners, ignore the rules, or manipulate the process, and help ensure they do the right thing.

It's an interesting phase of #SEO where your site isn't the only place search engines learn about your brand. Reddit, LinkedIn, reviews, podcasts, physical events, the list is endless. The question is: What story do all these places tell about your brand? #positiveequator

One of the most underrated #SEO skills is knowing when NOT to create a page. Two keywords can look different in a keyword tool and still deserve one strong resource. More URLs don't automatically mean more opportunities. Sometimes consolidation is bettwr. #positiveequator – at Ikorudu, Nigeria

We compared polling-unit results uploaded to INEC's IReV portal with the declared returns in two 2023 Rivers State National Assembly races. In the Obio/Akpor House of Representatives race, the IReV count puts Onunwor Ndamati (LP) ahead by 30,778 votes. INEC declared Chinda Kingsley Ogundu (PDP) the winner. In the Rivers East Senate race, the IReV count puts Okwuwolu Wolu Ekelechi Benjamin (LP) ahead by 13,043. INEC's declaration gave Onyesoh Allwell Heacho (PDP) a 59,558-vote lead. The polling units tell one story. INEC's declarations tell another. Full analysis on our website. #MundxAnalytics #INEC #ElectionData #NigeriaDecides2027

Was preparing for Mass this early Sunday morning, and an idea for a sharp #SEO and #contentmarketing workflow hit me. I'm taking a fast 10 minutes to build an @AirOpsHQ playbook for it before I forget. And no, I won't be late for church 😀 #positiveequator

Damn!
This quote from @seunonigbinde has been haunting me since I saw it on IG yesterday Omo perhaps #EndSARS & 2023 was our rise of hope moment Are we inevitably going to give up? Or have we already 😭

The best #SEO opportunity isn't always a new article. Might be the page you already have that's sitting at position 8, getting impressions, but hasn't been properly developed for the searcher's intent. Before creating more, look at what's already close. #positiveequator

There's a strange habit in #contentmarketing of treating every competitor's topic as an opportunity. I don't agree. Sometimes your competitor is ranking for kws that attract people you don't want. You don't need to win every kw. You need to win the right ones. #positiveequator

#Internallinking is not only about helping pages get some link equity. Your #internallinks can tell Google how your pages fit together and which topics you actually have depth in - your site's content architecture Most sites barely scratch the surface. #positiveequator

#AIsearch is forcing marketers to realize that being visible isn't the same as being understood. Your brand can publish plenty of content and still be difficult for an AI system to connect with a specific topic, problem, audience, or category. #positiveequator #SEO

A competitor getting more traffic than you doesn't automatically mean their #SEOstrategy is better. I've seen sites win traffic with pages that have little to do with the business. The end goal of #SEO is leads and sales, and if you're getting more, it's a win! #positiveequator

If your surname is Olabisi, you already know what to do 😃😂 – at Ikeja, Nigeria
I've seen great things online and offline, but I've never seen anything like this in my life. How's this even possible??

If you want more love from ChatGPT, don't focus on digital PR or even listicles. Don't get me wrong, those tactics can be effective, but it's the wrong place to start. Chances are, you already have content on your site. And chances are, it isn't optimized for GEO. So before you do anything else, optimize what you already have.

Something I've learned from auditing sites: you can spot the difference between a site that has an #SEOstrategy and one that's simply doing #SEO. One has a reason behind the pages. The other has a collection of keywords It's obvious if you know where to look. #positiveequator – at Ikeja, Nigeria

In Imo State (Ikeduru/Mbaitoli Federal Constituency), we found 24 polling-unit result sheets photographed between 5:04 and 5:34 a.m. on election day, according to the camera data embedded in the images INEC published on IReV. Voting was scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. Before a single vote was cast, the result sheets had been written and photographed. The published sheets show no presiding officer's name, signature, stamp, or agent names or signatures. Every photo carries the same profile: iPhone 13, iOS 16.4.1, with the same-looking wooden floor across six wards. These 24 sheets hold 8,081 valid votes. The final margin between the winner and the runner-up was 3,076. Full analysis and all 24 sheets are on our website.

#AI has made #contentproduction ridiculously easy. That's why brands are shifting to content that couldn't have been written by just anyone. Start showcasing your experience, opinions, customer stories, etc. Having something original to say is essential. #positiveequator

When people move mad. Take it up a notch 😋😃😂 – at Lagos, Nigeria
We formed a friends' club earlier this year. One of our rules was that whenever a member got married, we would support him with a 32-inch smart TV, a deep freezer, and a washing machine. In April, the first member got married. We contributed money, bought everything we had agreed on, and presented the gifts to him. Two weeks after the wedding, he announced that he was no longer interested in being part of the club and left our WhatsApp group. The following weekend, we showed up at his house unannounced. We carried away the TV, deep freezer, and washing machine and left.
