Trump is closing strong: 1. Hire unqualified press secretary who doesn't last a week 2. Announce public execution, then walk it back 3. Conduct pre-dawn raid on opposition congresswoman over paperwork from 1995 while allowing your crooked Ambassador to Greece to resign without charges 4. Float possibility of using "Mother Of All Bombs" in your unpopular war (that you've previously declared already "won" on many occasions) 5. Cut a too-little/too late/possibly-illegal deal to import Russian diesel to offset negative effects of said war 6. Get caught secretly raising $333 million from corporations and billionaires for your White House ballroom, including companies doing major business with your administration 7. Mock a woman wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt while she gets punched at your rally 8. Preemptively blame your outgoing senator for a Texas Senate seat you haven’t lost yet 9. Use a San Antonio rally, with diesel at $6.28 a gallon, to renew your demand that Roger Clemens be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame

Zohran Mamdani decided to highlight congressman Vito Anthony Marcantonio in Honor of Italian American Heritage month. Marcantonio has recently been romanticized in socialist circles. Interestingly, Marcantonio was a fierce advocate for establishing a Jewish state and removing the British mandate for Palestine. Marcantonio also spoke out fiercely against the 1948 arms embargo the US placed on Israel and ferociously attacked the British for farming and taking the side of Palestinians in the 1948 War of aggression initiated by Palestinians. Here are some of his quotes: "The best way to avoid war and bloodshed in Palestine is for the State Department to keep its word and to take the lead in bringing about the enforcement of the United Nations’ decision on Palestine." "The time has come when we should say to England that she has got to stop helping the Arabs." "At least we should not make it possible for her to continue giving the Arabs aid to the extent of about $46,000,000 a year which they claim they must do under treaty obligations." Not the Nakba narrative the DSA likes peddling.

Nothing demonstrates socialism’s incredible efficiency like 30 paid government workers, a full suited press kit, rotating camera crews, and man that’s never held a shovel in his entire life placing half a pound of hot asphalt over a pothole for a picture on social media so millions of idiotic acolytes across the political eco-system can tear jerk and back pat the city government for doing nothing more than performing its categorical job.

I don't believe you, as a professional, don't understand the ethical and potentially legal problems here, whether people were paid or not. But let me spell it out for you: The problem is not using influencers to get out messages. The problem is an undisclosed, coordinated PR campaign, with none of the messages labelled as PR communications so that they intentionally and misleadingly seem organic, and coordination with the influencers via Signal to make government communication and the people's work undiscoverable, un-FOIL-able and unaccountable. To try to turn the conversation to the topic of legacy media is cynical and disingenuous. I spent 25 years in the news business and now I work in government communications. It's absolutely true that we in government have had to, and want to, use new media and new media channels to directly communicate with the public. But to pretend our messaging is not ours but organically coming from the public and hiding our communications with an army of shills so the records of our government work on behalf of the people aren't retained and aren't discoverable stinks to high heaven and everybody gets that. Furthermore, in this case, the messaging seems -- although we can't know because you're hiding the government work product from the people -- to be focused on aggrandizing the mayor himself, not city governance messaging, all but eradicating the line between legitimate government communication and illegally using taxpayer resources -- including the time spent by city employees during work hours coordinating with influencers -- for political and campaign purposes. The whole thing really smells. On top of all that, just from a cynical comms POV, now that it's out, you've totally shot the credibility of any of your shills, or even anyone in the public who just legitimately posts positive information about the mayor, because now no one will believe it's real or organic. Any time any of us see the next Mamadi-glazing post, we're going to suspect is from one of your living Mamdani-bots. Also, from a comms perspective, you should know, that the best response now is just to come clean, say it's an intent to get info out, not an intent to deceive, we'll retain all our records of communications with influencers and ask them to label content going forward and we'll publish the list of influencers we're communicating with. Apologize and disclose. Trying to redirect the legitimate criticism and then trying to go on with the same operation as if it never happened is never going to work. That's also basic comms.

Apparently subcontracting is “exploitative” when Amazon does it. But when City Hall outsources essential public functions to politically aligned nonprofits, suddenly subcontracting becomes “partnership.” If the problem is accountability, Mayor Mamdani, explain why taxpayers should have to navigate a web of nonprofit contractors to figure out who is responsible for services government is supposed to provide. Subcontracting isn’t the principle. Who gets the contract is.
If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon. Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability. It leaves our workers unprotected and our streets less safe. It's time for a change. I'm proud to support the Delivery Protection Act to crack down on exploitative subcontracting and build an economy that works for everyone.

Apparently public begging is part of the socialist governing model. Assemblywoman Emily Gallagher used GoFundMe to help pay her cat’s veterinary bill while earning a six-figure government salary. Now incoming Assemblyman Brian Romero, who earned $106,469 last year and is headed toward a $142,000 salary, is asking strangers to help cover his rent and groceries. These people want to manage billions of dollars in taxpayer money, but apparently personal budgeting requires crowdfunding.

Leaving out the Italian, Jewish, and Irish enclaves in NYC is like leaving out Mexican and Persian enclaves in LA. It’s not an “oopsie!” This is deliberate subversion. The communist must erase your history so he can demolish your home and make it his own.

This is Central Park. Which was in such decay due to the City's horrible mismanagement that a non-profit took it over the 80s & the wealthy folks on the board did such an amazing job cleaning it up, that Low IQ posters like this enjoy it, without even understanding who to thank
hmmm the taxes might be worth it?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Between 1997 and 2019 (23 years inclusive), we had 54 murders on the NYC subways (about two per year). Between 2020 and 2026 so far (6.4 years inclusive) we have had 47 murders (about eight per year) and five justified homicides. Do you see what is wrong with this picture -- a consistent fourfold increase in the murder level, almost all random??? I have been talking about this now for 6.4 years and am pretty tired of it. What does it take for people to understand that unlike many of our manufactured, agenda-driven "crises," this is a real crisis that has how spanned three mayors?????

We’ve got BIG news: $4 billion for housing 🏡 across all five boroughs. NYC Comptroller Levine is launching a major new initiative to finance housing in NYC. It’s going to help us build and preserve the homes New Yorkers need. We’re expanding access to capital to grow housing supply, while working with our trustees to ensure strong returns for pensioners. Read the release: bit.ly/4sWDpFf
