Today I learned that most data centers forced on communities have clauses hidden in their contracts that essentially say if water levels hit draught territory, it is the responsibility of the municipality to turn off water for the community and keep the data center running because they “have a contract” and homeowners “do not”.

Save our data centers, die of thirst.
They’re literally trying to kill us in the fine print of their greed, hoping we won’t notice.
If you put a bear in a cage and poke it, throw things at it, jeer at it, do things to scare it, repeatedly, over and over, for this bear and all of its descendants, you do not get to do the shocked Pikachu face when that bear reaches out and mauls you.
