A trailer for my new poem, "Not Enough Vision." It uses eye-tracking software to react to your gaze. It's about Aaron Swartz, surveillance, and more. 👁️
I’m honored to be 1 of 6 Austin poets selected for Layers of Place: Austin, a project from @MIT @opendoclab's Augmented Reality and Public Space Artist Collective.

I've been reading Tolstoy. I love his story titles.
"GOD SEES THE TRUTH, BUT WAITS"
"HOW MUCH LAND DOES A MAN NEED?"
A SPARK NEGLECTED BURNS THE HOUSE"
Then the story answers the question or proves the statement of the title.
Refreshingly direct.

I previously posted some ill advised comment sniping at this guy’s somewhat unpolished style but upon re-reading CHERRY by Nico Walker I truly believe it’s one of the best if not the best novel of the Iraq War era and I highly recommend the book to all who have yet to read it
David C. Porter (@toomuchistrue) runs the journal Keep Planning and publishes all manner of writing on his substack Garden Scenery. Our latest issue features 3 of his poems, each one bristling with odd protrusions at violent angles.

Two nights ago I had a dream someone was wearing a Post-Pop Lit top hat 🎩 It was cream-colored with two beautiful ducks on the side. We were riding a roller coaster together.

The new issue of PPL is live (in Central and Eastern timezones, at least). Steff and I carefully curated the contents and texture of this issue, and to honor this curation I've designed the ultimate browser reading experience. But you're going to enjoy it on our terms.

two new poems in Garden Scenery today, in which someone is trying to tell you something. it's very important, this thing that they're trying to tell you. why won't you listen? one is called "$100,000" and the other is called "Sand Castle". give them a read gardenscenery.net/p/2-poems
Taisia Kitaiskaia (@kitaiskaia) is the author of several books, most recently "The Nightgown and Other Poems" from @DeepVellum. Her verse is luxurious in every way: texturally, phonetically, imaginatively––a perfect opening salvo for our new issue.
