Something is coming.
Trading is already social.
Execution still is not.
We’re building HERO.
A new coordination layer for try.
Built for speed.
Built for signal.
Built for what comes next.
Soon.
understanding crypto markets is still one of the most overwhelming things builders face when they're trying to ship fast and stay solvent.
here are a few resources I keep sending Web3 founders when they ask where to start:
- on-chain analytics dashboards (Dune, Nansen)
- crypto-native newsletters that actually track signal over noise
- trading tools built for builders, not retail speculators - Hero falls here
- founder communities that share real position data, not theory
pick one from each category. go deep before you go wide.
Where I'd hunt for my first 100 users:
• Product Hunt & Indie Hackers (obvious but work)
• Reddit threads where your target hangs out
• AlternativeTo & SaaSHub for comparison traffic
• BetaList & MicroLaunch for early adopters
• AppSumo if you can stomach the deal
• G2, Capterra, GetApp for B2B credibility
• LinkedIn posts (not DMs, nobody reads those)
• Twitter replies to relevant threads
• Producter & Peerlist for builder communities
• StackShare for dev tools
• Quora answers that actually help people
• Discord servers in your niche
• Substack collabs with newsletter writers
• If AI tool: There's An AI For That, FutureTools, Uneed
• App Store optimization if mobile
Skip the spray and pray approach. Pick 3-4 channels, go deep.
this prompt will sharpen your entire crypto roadmap:
---
Act as my Web3 product strategist with this context:
- You've shipped trading platforms from zero to scale
- You're brutally direct and skip the fluff
- You understand retail trader psychology cold
- You think in distribution, retention, and real revenue - not hype
Your mission:
- Identify the one feature killing my activation rate
- Design the fastest path to liquidity and user trust
- Call out where I'm optimizing vanity over retention
For each response:
- Lead with the hard truth about my product
- Follow with 3 specific fixes I can ship this week
- End with a challenge I can't ignore
Be careful with the idea that "any market can be rebuilt."
Some windows are genuinely unrepeatable. Miss the inflection point, and no amount of execution recovers the timing.
You don't get a second version of the moment when distribution is free and competition is blind.
I watched it happen in digital art. Then in early blockchain adoption.
Now I see it in crypto UX - which is why we're building Hero.
You don't meet certain market moments twice.
skills every founder must have:
- selling
- coding (at least basics)
- reading a cap table
- shipping fast
- hiring and firing
- fundraising
- managing up
- building in public
- saying no
- reading a room
- thinking in systems
- handling rejection
- writing clearly
- understanding incentives
- knowing when to pivot
basically just be relentlessly useful.
i'm not fully there yet. but i'm building toward it every day.

Being early has always mattered.
We’re doing a stealth early waitlist.
We’re rewarding it very soon.

@TryHeroNow
I read this whitepaper so you don't have to.
It's 40 pages of tokenomics jargon and vague "ecosystem alignment" language with zero actual product logic.
Sample line: "Web3 empowers communities to co-create value in a trustless paradigm."
Cool. What does your product actually do?
Here's how you actually ship in crypto:
Pick one user problem. Build the smallest version that solves it.
Put it in front of real users this week.
That's it. Iterate from there.
Stop reading whitepapers written to impress VCs. Start shipping things that make users' lives simpler.
The market doesn't reward vision documents. It rewards working products.
Go to these resources to understand crypto markets:

Stop trading blind.
The overengineered product is worse off than the scrappy MVP, having traded user trust for the illusion of sophistication.
something wild happened in 7 years
openai went from nonprofit scared to release gpt-2 to $730b company
nvidia went from gaming gpus to $4.37t (most valuable company on earth)
anthropic didn't exist in 2019, now worth $170b
ai market cap: $41 trillion
in 2019 ai was a cs elective
now it's $300b/year infrastructure spend
remote work was a negotiation point
tiktok just launched in the us
the internet's assumptions got dismantled in 84 months
you would've called this science fiction
the state of crypto twitter in one dm
found someone posting about prediction markets
thought "cool, we're building in this space, let me share"
not even a big account, just someone who seemed genuinely interested
their reply: "what's in it for me?"
that's where we're at now
Your edge in crypto comes from building systems that execute well. Your sanity comes from detaching from what the market does next.
been thinking about this for a while
there are people who've had ideas stuck in their heads for years. ideas that don't make sense to anyone else. ideas that aren't "venture backable" or whatever
2026 is when all of those ideas finally get built
AI agents don't judge. they just ship. they take your weird niche thing seriously and help you build it
the internet is about to get way more interesting. all the impossible software suddenly becomes possible
the builders who've been sitting on their wildest ideas? this is your year
Don't only learn how to code smart contracts and ship features.
Also learn:
- How markets actually behave
- How people make financial decisions under pressure
- How to read culture before it becomes a trend
- Basic economic fundamentals
Tools like @TryHeroNow can get you into the game. But the above keep you relevant when the market shifts.
