And it isn't one bad morning. In a single week I found a dozen people with the same story: charged, "successful," no token. Patterns are choices. So why stay broken? Not talent. A monopoly has no competitor to lose you to, so bad software costs it nothing. No one inside is measured on whether a purchase actually works. And unlike abroad, no chargeback, no regulator bites - the money's collected, the pain is yours. Not "can't." Won't. And "won't" is a choice you're making while the clock runs.

Ngl sports betting is incredibly more fun and less addicting once u start putting double/triple digit stakes on 2/1, 3/1, 4/1 etc instead of £5 accas or longshot bet builders

Iyinoluwa Aboyej built Andela and Flutterwave by understanding Africa deeply, not by copying what worked in the West. His point is simple: the founders who understand the continent will build the next generation of global companies. Are you studying Nigeria deeply enough? 🇳🇬

In the 3 years it will take Dangote Refinery to build a $17bn Kenyan Refinery, NNPCL and its Chinese partners will spend 5 years retooling the 48-year-old WRPC into a petrochemical park. Dangote Breaks Ground on $17bn Kenya Refinery Project share.google/rPvyV9v3Mt7Zllz… – at Coventry, England

EBRD $1.5bn Nigeria investment The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has set a target of investing at least $1.5 billion in Nigeria over the next three years 💰 Foreign institutions are betting on Nigeria even when Nigerians themselves are losing faith. The opportunity here is REAL — the question is whether ordinary Nigerians will be positioned to benefit or watch from the sidelines again 🇳🇬

Stocks of companies in the midstream and Upstream petroleum sector will profit more than those who will buy Dangote Refinery IPO stocks. Ask me How?

I am betting on Ghana at the start of the game vs Colombia today - cashing out after the first goal then rolling it all into Colombia. Same story for Argentina vs Cape Verde. Why? It's probably rigged.

Food inflation is serious (~17% YoY recently, after much higher peaks), and food insecurity affects a large portion of the population (tens of millions in acute/moderate risk). The specific combo of "68% cannot afford + 48% food inflation" is a viral framing that doesn't align with the most recent official NBS numbers—it's an older or aggregated snapshot. Nigeria faces real challenges with affordability, supply, and nutrition security that require sustained policy focus on agriculture, security, and productivity.

Me accepting my fate when SportyBet offered me a cashout of #100 after they've collected my #200, 000 stake
😂 African moms really said “you will rest today whether you like it or not” 😂 This baby has officially accepted his fate. Zero escape. Maximum cozy. Resistance level: -100 😴🌯

Has anyone else noticed that SportyBet’s cashout offers have dropped significantly? I’ve been comparing them with Bet9ja’s, and Bet9ja seems to offer much higher cash out values on similar games.

Ripple investing in Flutterwave is a smart move. Flutterwave already processes payments across 30+ African countries, so this isn't Ripple trying to build from scratch in a market it doesn't understand. That's the part worth noticing. Africa's remittance corridors are expensive. If XRPL-based rails can cut even a few percentage points off those fees, that's real money for real people. Whether this actually ships into production or stays a press release is the only question that matters now. cointelegraph.com/news/rippl…

BREAKING: Filling stations in parts of Lagos and Ogun states have reduced the price of petrol to an average of N1,205 per litre as of Sunday. The reduction followed the cut in petrol gantry prices by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery last week.
