20+ Years in Oil & Gas. Now I’m Building in AI and Technology.
If you had told me years ago that I’d be transitioning from oil and gas into the world of artificial intelligence and technology, I probably would have had a few questions.
After more than two decades working in oil and gas, particularly in measurement, I’ve learned that precision matters, systems matter, and the smallest inefficiencies can have significant consequences.
I’ve seen firsthand how industries depend on accurate data, reliable infrastructure, and people who know how to solve problems under pressure.
And somewhere along the way, I started asking myself a different question.
What happens when we combine decades of industrial experience with the possibilities of artificial intelligence?
That’s where my interest in technology became something much bigger.
Today, I’m taking that experience into a new chapter, building in AI, intelligent automation, and digital infrastructure through ElynosAI.
I’m not entering tech because it’s trending. I’m entering because I believe the next generation of innovation will come from people who understand real-world problems and know how to build technology that solves them.
And if there’s one thing 20+ years in oil and gas has taught me, it’s that no industry stands still forever.
I’m still learning. Still building. Still challenging myself.
The industry may be changing, but the experience comes with me.
Here’s something I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts on:
Do you think professionals with decades of experience in traditional industries have an advantage when transitioning into AI and technology?
Or does entering tech require starting from scratch?
I’d love to hear from people who’ve made similar transitions.

Baba... nothing do me o... at all.
You are in the best position to know what a subtle accusation can look like. You have gone through it and very experienced.
Nothing so my mental health...
Hmmm, I have a lot at stake, career- wise, politics and investment wise... We are being extra careful...
My mental health is intact ... abeg,...
The only thing that may be capable to affect my mental health is if my source of income is cut off...
Baba relax... its very necessary.
I'm presenting my book to a top Government official in the UK... so, I must be extra careful my bro...
Let's not make it a big deal my bro... everything will be fine

A quick update on my plan to give 200 people free one-month Netflix subscriptions ahead of the release of Jagun Jagun 2 by @realfemiadebayo on December 4.
I've had my first meeting with a potential partner, and discussions are ongoing.
I'm deliberately keeping the company's identity private until everything is properly agreed and finalised.
One thing I'm particular about is ensuring that whoever gets selected receives an actual Netflix subscription, not just money that can be spent on something else.
I'm also exploring ways to make the selection process engaging and transparent, including a TikTok LIVE.
I'm funding this initiative personally, but I don't intend to do everything alone. I'd love to have the right partners come on board to make the experience worthwhile for everyone involved.
More updates soon. We're making progress. 🤝🏽
I want to give 200 people free Netflix subscriptions to watch Jagun Jagun 2 by @realfemiadebayo when it drops on December 4.
One month of Netflix subscription for 200 people, and I'm personally covering the cost.
I've sent emails to several fintech companies to explore how best to execute this. I need a way to ensure that the money allocated to each winner can ONLY be used for @NetflixNaija , not withdrawn or spent on something else.
I've started the conversations, and now I want to take them to X.
Please help me tag the fintech companies that could make this happen. I want to hear from their teams, compare the available options and work with whoever can provide the most practical solution.
I'm not asking anyone to fund this. I'll bear the cost. I'm simply looking for the right partner to help me execute it properly.
If you work with any fintech, please tag them. If you're connected to their marketing, partnerships or product teams, I'd appreciate an introduction.
Let's see if we can make this happen before December 4. 🤝 🤝

The ultimate form of preparation is not planning for a specific scenario, but a mindset than can handle uncertainty.

Real talk. One of the hardest lessons to learn is that nobody is coming to unlock your potential for you.
You may have access to the internet, books, and people who have gone ahead of you.
But you must be willing to ask questions, seek knowledge, make mistakes, and figure things out.
Your growth is largely your responsibility. Act like it.

Thank you for your kind words. Of course it's not going to be forever.
We are just being cautious. More Senior colleagues in the Obstetrics and Gynecology field are aware... and this is their advice.
I have since been receiving some requests and follow up images... which are suspicious... so we don't want to take chances.
I have a lot to lose if I'm set up... so, this is a great decision for now...
Very important.
Don't worry, any post you've been seeing from this account is a calculated post.
Not everyone is kind hearted like you. So these are measures to prevent any threat.
Not that they will find any wrong doing... but the stress of the investigations.
Dear @osemagnum
I want to personally appeal to you to reconsider your decision to discontinue the consultation. I understand that the actions of a few uncultured individuals can be discouraging, but please don't allow their behaviour to overshadow the tremendous impact you are making in society.
You are truly a blessing to this generation, and the knowledge, education and awareness you provide, particularly to women, are invaluable. Please don't let the actions of a few disrespectful individuals make you withdraw this goodwill from the many people who genuinely appreciate and benefit from your work.
I want you to know that the majority of women value your contributions and the positive impact you continue to make.
Please, I sincerely appeal to you to reconsider. Don't let the few discourage you from continuing the good work. We need more people like you.

I am alive today, together with my entire family, because God used good neighbours to save our lives.
There was a night when the rented apartment we were living in collapsed on us. It happened around 2 AM. While we were trapped, our neighbours quickly swung into action and rescued every one of us.
The most touching part? My lastborn was just two weeks old at the time. 😭
Whenever I remember that night, my heart is filled with gratitude. Those neighbours didn't just help us; they gave us another chance at life.
Some people are more than neighbours. They are blessings placed around us by God.
To my good neighbours, wherever you are, may God continue to bless and reward you.
I will never forget what you did for my family. ❤️
Please, never underestimate the importance of having good neighbours. You may need them when you least expect it.

It takes me only 2 years to steal your customer, all because I keep records.
And the only thing that can save you is your customer never working in my business.
Which is very unlikely.
Now, I am building an AI agent for my Pharmacy.
And a smoother experience for my clients.
This AI agent is going to be shooting a personalized messages to my clients based on their names, the medication they bought, and how they are responding or experiencing any side effects, 12 hours after making purchases from my Pharmacy.
You still dey sleep?
Oya na.
