the most devastating thing about this is that it had fics that i deleted YEARS ago on there as well as fics shared under a previous pseudonym that i hadn't used in over a decade and had also been deleted. they've been stealing my works for so long

The domain's current registration dates from Nov 1, three days after AO3 went down, yet the site claims 15.8 million works. You can't copy that from an AO3 that's offline: the content was already saved before this site appeared. 1/5

I’m genuinely tweaking rn Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭
