Sorry to some oomfs who disagreed but after the country voted overwhelmingly against trans people we have to address this again
i hated that people crucified chappell roan over the correct take

Like every ballot that had actual trans issues on it went south. Democrats won but none of them have actually promised to be better for trans people. You don’t have to like what she was saying or agree with the timing to know that she was still correct

Yes Chaya that’s what happens when you run the country like a hot steaming pile of dogshit
What are the chances of nearly every single county going more democrat in a state trump won by 14 points?

Girl shut the fuck up no one invited your pasty ass. Don’t you have a public execution to be at or something
My thoughts on the Midterm Results: My heart breaks for our country. Despite the best efforts by so many to support Republican candidates and call conservatives back to our principles, our Republican team suffered a historic defeat. This midterm election wasn’t a rout, it was a reckoning. The American people have rejected our party’s shift toward economic populism, and our majorities in Congress and state legislatures and governorships across the country paid the price. But like most people of faith, I’m an eternal optimist. I know that with God’s help, we can save our movement—and our country—again. We can return the Republican Party to the timeless principles that have led to our greatest successes and, more important, have made America strong, prosperous and free. The conservative comeback starts today. Let’s get to work. 🇺🇸

Did you want a participation trophy
Senator Susan Collins to The New York Times after losing re-election: “Everybody ignores the fact that I voted to convict him in the second impeachment trial,” Ms. Collins said. “What bigger break could there be? It is never enough. I want results and they want angry rhetoric.” nytimes.com/2026/11/04/us/po…

I don’t even like el sayed but yeah yall sound ridiculous
He’s gonna lose the primary. He wins. He’s gonna lose the general. He wins. He’s gonna win only narrowly. He wins by 7. All the while, record levels of money spent against him; the president and media target him daily with racist abuse; and his former Dem rival endorses his GOP opponent. But apparently, he is an ‘under performer.’ 🤷🏽‍♂️

President still has veto power btw maybe let’s tell him to green light every democratic piece of legislation before demanding this
Congrats, Democrats. You wanted the power, now you've got it. So here's the bill, due by February: Gas under $2. Free healthcare. Free food. Free college. Every last Epstein file released. And don't even try blaming Trump anymore. You run the show now. Every broken promise from here on has your name on it. Let's see you deliver. 🇺🇸

Hours after the election, Houston leaders said they'd revisit how HPD works with ICE. The governor-elect has pledged to end ICE cooperation across state and local law enforcement. State law still requires detainer cooperation and still makes illegal entry a state crime. Changing that still goes through the Legislature. A secure border isn't optional because Austin changed hands.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for all the people I know who work for Abbott, Paxton, Patrick et al who will soon find themselves unemployed. You shitheads stood by these men as they ran disgusting campaigns trying to scare Texans about trans folks and Muslims. Bye!

THIS COULD BE HUGE FOR GAMING
Discord is rebuilding its apps from scratch in Rust! Discord CTO Stanislav Vishnevskiy confirmed they are ditching Electron and React Native. The new client is fully written in Rust and uses GPUI for rendering. Early preview show massive performance gains: - RAM usage dropped to ~290 MB (down from ~2 GB) - Single, lightweight process instead of endless Chromium helpers
