I'm genuinely baffled by this one.
Forget Haaland for a moment. Look at Enzo Fernández.
He's in an offside position and, in my view, clearly attempts to play the ball and impacts the situation. That's precisely why the offside law matters here.
VAR has had the opportunity to examine this from multiple angles and still allowed it.
For me, that's a massive VAR error.

Idag dömdes barnrättsaktivisten Jonatan Alfvén för flera fall av grovt förtal, för att han varnat allmänheten för den vidrigaste, smutsigaste sortens brottslingar som finns. Jonatan dömdes till villkorlig dom, dagsböter samt till att betala flera hundra tusen kronor till förövarna.
Samtidigt som jag tycker att Jonatan naturligtvis inte borde dömts alls, är jag glad att han slapp fängelse, och att han därmed inte behöver lämna sin fru och barn.
De smutsiga avarter som ger sig på barn, och som Jonatan rapporterat om förtjänar inga pengar. De förtjänar att vara rädda och obekväma i resten av sina miserabla liv. De som varnar allmänheten för dessa vidriga brottslingar ska inte straffas.
Förtalslagstiftningen måste ändras.
