The latest update includes 178 Android security fixes, 24 Samsung-specific fixes and four semiconductor security patches.
Notable fixes address vulnerabilities in the bootloader, camera filter plugin, Samsung Contacts, Messages, Dialer and SIM-lock security.
Google’s Android fixes also include 20 critical vulnerabilities.

Apple is preparing a major iPad refresh for the first half of 2027.
According to Mark Gurman, the lineup includes:

• iPad Pro with vapor chamber cooling
No new iPads are expected in the second half of the year.
The OLED Air would finally close one of the biggest gaps with the Pro, while the vapor chamber should let the Pro sustain higher performance without throttling.
