As an ex Writtle student naturally (in jest) I called calling him a Judas & a Scumbag.
But all your hopes & aspirations as a parent are theyhave a great time & some lifelong memories.
I’ve no doubt he’ll have a blast!

Last morning in Cairns and last day in 🇦🇺 Now making our way back to 🇬🇧 via Hong Kong. Been an amazing trip so far!
We also went with a wildlife guide yesterday and saw Platypus, Pademelon (small version of 🦘) and Possums! We were lamping in the dark. It was so late when we got back, I did not have even have time for a 🍺

Been in lovely Cairns for the last few days. Had a trip out to find a Cassowary. Despite being big, they are still quite elusive. Family not happy as I had them up at 4.00AM 😱. My son found one at 4.30pm sitting in a ditch, much to my embarrassment 🤦🏻

You can’t come to 🇦🇺 without a 🐊 tour and we went with #CrocSpot which was pretty cool. I do have mixed feelings about interfering with animals in their natural environment, but to get close to this is quite something!
We were in #Darwin at the time of #Exercise #PitchBlack which was awesome. A multinational force of combat aircraft, exactly what my boy, (sometimes my beautiful wife) and I really like! 🇦🇺✈️🛩️
We made it to #Darwin and the first thing we did was gave a tour in a #WW2 truck around the city. I never realised that #Darwin had experienced a #PearlHarbour style attack and suffered considerable hardship. The #DarwinMilitaryMuseum is very cool!

Whilst in #Broome, we went on a trip around beautiful Roebuck Bay to try to see Snubfin Dolphins. They have no snout like normal dolphins and their head does resemble a buttock 😱 We had some great views!

In Broome, 🇦🇺 a few times a month, the moon rises over the sea and creates “The Staircase to the Moon” It is amazing and we are lucky enough to be present when it happened.

Finally got some great views of #turtles 🐢 at #OspreyBay on the final snorkel of our trip #Ningaloo #Reef 🇦🇺
After last year’s disappointment , we nailed 3 different whale sharks and a stingray today! JIt was hard going but totally worth it 🤿🐟🇦🇺
