An epic statement demanding a fellow Dem candidate that has nothing to do with an ad that isn’t racist disavow and condemn the ad, and totally ignored the endless actual racist abuse the candidate has had to endure.
Does Stevens condemn Cruz saying AES joining the Intel Cttee would lead to American deaths? Does Stevens condemn Trump for saying AES should go through metal detectors? Does she condemn Mike Rogers, who her fiance is backing, for saying AES is a terrorist? Nope. Not a word in here about any of that.

I can't imagine a CNN host casually, as an aside, saying "You wanna go after Judaism, I understand where you are trying to go."
To be clear, I'm glad the host was defending Arabs from RFK Jr's anti-Arab bigotry. But just casually accepting anti-Islam rhetoric as somehow understandable is a reminder of how normalized Islamophobia has become in our mainstream media. Sadly.
