This election is our last chance to at least rein in some of the foolishness of this Administration. We need real leadership with concrete plans to lower costs, make health care more affordable, make housing more affordable, and get utility bills under control. Let’s do what we can to make @KeishaBottoms the next Governor of Georgia. Let’s go send Jon @Ossoff back to the Senate. And let’s put this country back on the path to a better future.

✨ Love Is the Real Mastery ✨ So many people spend their lives chasing the mystical... psychic abilities, higher dimensions, spiritual practices, and the secrets of the universe. And while there can be beauty in all of it... sometimes I think we forget the simplest truth of all. None of it matters much if we haven't learned how to love. You can meditate for hours, see beyond the physical, understand ancient teachings, and speak of enlightenment... but how do you treat the person standing in front of you? Can you show compassion when it's difficult? Can you forgive without carrying bitterness? Can you love yourself through your imperfections? Can you hold space for someone whose journey looks nothing like yours? That's where the real spiritual work begins. Love isn't something we achieve once we've mastered everything else. Love is the mastery itself. It's easy to speak of light when everything is beautiful. The real test comes when life gets messy... when our hearts are hurting, our patience is tested, and we're given every reason to close ourselves off. And we choose love anyway. Maybe awakening was never about becoming something extraordinary. Maybe it was always about remembering something beautifully simple... how to be human, how to be kind, and how to love one another. Because at the end of this journey, it won't be how much we knew that mattered most... it will be how deeply we loved. 💛 ZF 🔥

Dolores Huerta was a hero of mine. When she co-founded the National Farm Workers Association in 1962, people thought Dolores was crazy. “How are you going to organize farm workers,” she remembered being asked. "They are poor, powerless immigrants.” But that’s exactly what she did, helping thousands of migrant laborers working in brutal conditions make their voices heard, and demand something better. Dolores spent the rest of her life fighting for marginalized communities, even as she herself faced sexism and abuse — including, as she revealed earlier this year, from Cesar Chavez and others within her own movement. She also came up with a pretty good slogan, “Si, se puede” — Yes, we can — that I too often get credit for. But as usual, Dolores got there first. Michelle and I are thinking of Dolores’s family, the people whose lives she changed, and everyone who drew inspiration from her example. Photo credit: National Archives, Obama Presidential Library

Faith can be embodied in all cultures, because it does not identify itself with any of them in a specific one. It dwells within them, shaping them from within according to the “form” of Jesus Christ; that is, through charity, service and the filial recognition of God’s fatherhood. In this way, the Church draws from the various cultures all that is good, beautiful and true, in order to embody and transmit the message of the Gospel. #GeneralAudience

The world has lost one of its greatest champions for justice and civil rights for farmworkers…of all working people. I have always believed food can change the world. Dolores Huerta showed us that change begins with the people who grow and harvest our food. I will honor her legacy by continuing to fight for a world where the people who feed America…and the world...can also feed themselves and their families, with dignity. Dolores taught us: Si, se puede…Together, yes, we can. Rest in peace, Dolores. Si, se pudo! Pero la lucha sigue…your fight lives on in all of us.
