Biblically Based Discernment In Perilous Times.
We Need Clarity More Than Ever In These Days We Live.
Anyone with a computer can bombard us with ideas that seem to match what the bible is trying to tell us on the surface, but in reality they undermine the true correction being given to us.
The armor passage starts as a rebuke, a correction, that our weapons are not carnal (Ephesians 6:12). The description of the armor has nothing to do with the carnal image at all and it is not asking us to put carnal armor back on whatsoever. It tells us what our weapons are, and they are spiritual. The passage in the Bible describes in words the opposite image of the descriptions we are being presented with!
Jesus rebuked Peter for picking up a sword (Matthew 26:52), and then we try and pick up the sword. Yes there is a very real battle, a battle on our knees in prayer and trust that the Lord fights the actual battle and we trust Him to get vengeance and decide righteously from the mercy seat.
We have a King that could have called more than 12 legions down to defend himself, but that is Not! the message he wanted to send, to you, to me or our children.
The battle belongs to the Lord.
“Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)
