New policy that does not in any way invalidate or supersede previous unrelated policies. I will not follow back anyone who follows me with a following to followed ratio greater than 3 or has offensive or subjectively inflammatory posts.
I think I might start a new policy of arbitrarily and proactively muting stupid people and blocking blue checkmarks spreading stupid shit. I’m getting too old and tired to see brain dead crap show up on my timeline. Some people you just can’t reach.

That's it.... I think I will have to take a pause from this insane stupid platform for a few days. I don't like the nut cases twisting the Learjet crash into some weird conspiracy or other stupid explanation. I like even less the push of that crap on my feed.

Long post worth the read. I have a close friend who flies private jets. He flew Lear 60 for over 15 years and now flies a Gulfstream. This is a copy and paste of his response to me asking him if he thought Ice was the issue. “We always fly in ridiculous cold temperatures.” “Usually you get the bad ice when the temperatures are like 0 to negative 20. Believe it or not, there's a point where it gets too cold for ice. At negative 40, you pretty much can't get ice. Besides that, the airplane is equipped with hot wings and hot tail.” “I flew the Lear 60 for like 15 years. It's a no joke airplane and probably the most dangerous airplane I've ever flown. It has a super critical wing. The airflow has to be perfect. When it gets into rough air and turbulence, it will easily stall. It has stalled on me at 41,000 feet just because we got into some turbulence. (On the way to Palm Beach as a matter of fact. ) we recovered and got her flying again around 30,000 ft. Scary But here's the problem. This airplane has a terrible coffin corner. (At high altitudes) what that means is, you fly in a really narrow window where if you lose 20 knots, it stalls. And if you gain 20 knots, it goes into overspeed. The air goes supersonic over the wing and it goes into a high speed stall, or worse, a Mach tuck. So if you stall, the normal recovery is to push the yoke forward to lower the nose and gain air speed again. At low altitude, you can push really hard and recover quickly. But in the 60... if you push hard, it will gain air speed and go into a high speed stall, it doesn't take much. It's very sensitive. The 60 has super short wings that don't make much lift. So then you high speed stall, and the computer is yelling at you... OVERSPEED! So then you pull back and enter a low speed stall. And you go back and forth trying to keep it in the air speed window. This whole thing is pretty scary. And you should recover basically by using your finger tips using super small corrections. You can't over do it. If you try to muscle the recovery, she gets mad and will become unrecoverable. If she enters a mach tuck. You're done.” “I taught the Lear 60 to other pilots and mentored them. I told them... this airplane has a soul and it's trying to kill you. Do not ever try to top the weather. Don't go over a thunderstorm. Go around it. If it means a half hour longer, then do it. Going over the thunderstorm will go into turbulence that you might not recover from. These pilots went right over a thunderstorm. I think it stalled which caused them to drop down into the thunderstorm and ended up in mach tuck. They picked up so much speed that it ripped off the horizontal stabilizer. At that point... chuck Yeager can't fix it. These same pilots did something similar a couple months ago. ATC got mad at them. They poked the bear one too many times. This is not a beginner airplane. The Gulfstream would never do this. It has HUGE margins of error and won't stall like that. But then again... it's got HUGE wings. It's a pussy cat. The Gulfstream is like driving a 4 wheeler. The Lear 60 is like riding a uni cycle.”

What a load of absolute BS…. “a more natural time when we’ll be waking up closer to sunrise,”.. it’s STILL effin dark when I get up and now it’ll also be effin dark when I get home. Can’t stand these asshats weaponizing every last controversy. ctvnews.ca/health/article/ca…

AHH November 1st... The day the malls take down the Halloween decorations, put up the Christmas decorations and start ever so subtly "getting us in the mood" with horrible, horrible, insufferably painful to listen to renditions of frost the snowman on low so it doesn't backfire.

Right.. This should be fun.. of all the explanations for gravity, the perpetually accelerating upwards is interesting until you try to reconcile we have different local accelerations. Maybe this will put me back on their "angry glober" list. nitter.gq/qbertblue/status/21152…

You dismiss gravity pulling things down towards the center of the earth... Ok, but if the earth itself is accelerating up as if we are in a giant elevator perpetually speeding up, how do you account for local accelerations being different? researchgate.net/publication…

How…the….hell…can….windows 11….feel…like….an…. XT? Seriously my computer feels like it’s an XT running windows 3.1. Right click in file explorer and the menu doesn’t show up for 15 seconds.

Satellite images taken every 10 minutes. But what happens if you save them as they arrive and stitch them together after a few months? Another cause for flat earther copium use maybe? youtu.be/UBjqhDgYHLI

Did Apple finally jump the shark with its home view thing? What am I missing? It looks like an iPad mini hot glued to a home pod… ok, better than hot glued, but still, who would buy a dedicated thing that their other things already do?

FML Halloween is still weeks away but I just saw someone in the BEST costume yet. A ghostbusters outfit with that ghost trap and everything.

When I launched the potato friend finder I was asked for an email address… next thing I know, I was put on a mailing list. Here’s an email I got just last week talking about @FlatEarthDaveX on the Tim Poole show. @FTFEofficial @Mctoon27 was this because of your streams? 1/2

2/2 The timing is a bit coincidental… I got it the 23rd at 7:28 AM and YouTube says Toon did a stream 6 days ago, FTFE 7 days ago. I think that’s the finish times both last Tuesday, Toon finishing in the early AM.

So some flerf posted the captioned image… wanted to reply but this fucking platform autoscrolled away when I got back after some research.. because apparently I must have the attention span of a gnat & couldn’t possibly stay focused for more than 5 seconds. Original: circa 2017

Does anyone speak today’s dialect of flerf? Is this an admission we live on a sphere or such a catastrophic breakdown of flerf logic they gave up even trying to make any argument at all?

Ran out of playlist and have to listen to what’s on my phone…. Listening to Blondie, I feel nostalgic for disco and rollerskates. Called the early 80s but it didn’t answer. Oh well.
