And the security guard saw you carrying a bag.
“I was carrying a bag,” Daniel replied. “That doesn’t mean I stole anything.”
The director pushed a termination letter across the table.
“We have enough evidence. Sign it, collect your things, and leave quietly.”
Daniel glanced at the letter but didn’t touch it.
