When i was around that age i only cared about seeing heroes fight and friendships being made not watching a literal break up, which was the dumbest decision ever with how it was handled. I'd probably have jumped off my seat and hid somewhere if kid me saw lila bomb a building or far more her traumatized backstory and her insanity which would probably get my parents's attention when i scream from horror that they will be the one's pulling the plug on the show for me. Literally after Chat Blanc, miraculous become more terrifying and i actually was scared while watching that horror episode for the first time. And finding out there was a scraped version that was even more terrifying just proves you were aiming it for a mature audience not kids who would have nightmares from akumatized Chat noir Literally from what i have seen the targeted audience for S6 and S7 doesn't appear to be literal first graders. All of us who grew up with this show 12 years ago are in our 20s watching it thinking it's heading somewhere great which in a way it is, but still marketing it as a kid show and following the production order releases is really the most annoying thing this show has ever pulled. It's clear this is all being done due to broadcasting demands, but genuinely are you trying to make something good that will be enjoyable for all generations as the show grows with us or are you trying to make a cash grab with Broadcast programs? If you want to push miraculous to be a more mature and serious show, then at least try switching to some other way to produce it which would make the mature fans satisfied, since you claim the show cares about it's audience, but that audience grew up and they want to follow an actual story. Most of us don't even watch it on Tv the episodes are just there online for us to watch. It's either you care about the cash grab, which is why the show will always focus more on the kid audience rather than the adult audience. Or you care about your show and what you want to portray as life lessons, political serious awareness and a story that would be remembered and talked about for it's incredible storytelling and evolution which would be because you focuse to Satisfy the audience that were there for this show since day 1 and stayed, because they saw it's potential. Kid audience will still be able to watch miraculous the chibi is perfect for that also the Movies. The previous seasons could still be watched, especially when fans who become parents one day will show their children the show and you still get to have a show for all generations all because of its evolution from kid to adult demographic. It actually kills me personally that this show still remains targeted primarily towards kids the potential is insane but the execution always leaves issues because of these restraints. 💔
