An amazing translational simulation event with @Ornge and St Mike’s ED on May 7th! > 100 participants and online observers. These types sim events allow us to stress test our processes, leading to systems-wide impacts. Great work all! @petrosoniak @UnityHealthEd @UnityHealthTO

This morning we introduced Your Health: A Plan for Connected and Convenient Care. As we put our bold plan into action, you will be connected to care when you need it and where it’s convenient for you, whether that’s in your community or even at home.

I ran a half marathon this past weekend. I feel quite honored to work as a cardiologist and use my training for the benefit of others, but I never expected those skills to be needed in this manner outside of work.

Our CPR mannequins have no arms or legs, but they do have breasts! Wondering why this is important? 🧵 #CPRMonth @HeartandStroke 1/

Simulation testing was conducted in an operational ED. A true testament to our staff & sim team. We used a bright colored vest so that clinical staff could easily identify this as a simulation (in addition to signage and pre-sim comms). 3/

Don’t you love it when your sim carts are replicas of real life? 😍 Double love when the cart was designed using sim-informed feedback! 🥰 @petrosoniak @KariLynWhite @DougCam8672

With a little blue food colouring, some cut-off IV tubing and caulking in just the right place, we were able to simulate a leaking chest tube. DM for details. #tinybubbles #Simulation

RIP to our dear classmate and friend Mohammad Amin Jebelli. You are missed and thought of often
In January 2020, we lost a beautiful soul, Mohammad Amin Jebelli, in the Ukraine flight 752 crash. Even though his time with us was brief, his impact on our lives & the TRP will live on forevermore. bit.ly/3nLjuYn
