on the topic of body diversity (and lack thereof) in the phandom, i can’t stress enough how fundamental figure drawing is. for anyone who is struggling/wants to get better at accurately depicting both phighters and people in general - line-of-action.com/ is the place (1/3)

more on this: i honestly think subspace is pretty partial to the idea of her dying, the only reason she will not let it happen is because she will no longer be able to support blackrock and make them proud
robology@r0botomy15h
would people kill me if i said i think subspace would have crazy passive ideation

her death is not the death of subspace the person (which frankly never existed to her) but the death of subspace the tool for blackrock. she is unable to separate herself from the state and that is why she keeps going

I’ve felt this way for a while, and it bothers me because I really love canon Vinestafff, I love accidentally intimidating sweetheart tropes! But it feels kinda like whenever she actually gets drawn, it’s like they don’t actually use any aspects of her character, at all.

i acknowledge that she is pretty obviously afraid of dying and desperate to stay alive as long as she can and Do Things and Be Someone but you can still be all that and sometimes wish it was over

im actually a huge believer of subspace being mute and i wish more people considered it because with how her rot affects her mouth she either would not be able to talk or it would be hard/uncomfortable for her to do so

i feel like the way disabilities can affect a persons speech is rarely considered and it makes me mildly sad
