been working on how the mini logo adapts across every mini tool. turned out to be a pretty flexible system at its core, and unmistakably mini at every beat
all of it is built piece by piece, in public. tools and brand side by side. still naked. somehow it keeps coming together
this gives families fund a personal touch on every load - thank you!
my first post was a little confusing, so to be clear. "if this finds you" is over a million handwritten fonts, free to download and open source
the engine behind them is open source too. it never writes the same letter twice, just like real handwriting
not sure what all the uses are yet, but curious to see what people build with it
been realizing how much of my thinking around ai native creative tooling starts at the web level. i've been handicapping my own ideas. it should start at the os level, or some other abstracted layer we haven’t considered yet
went further down the rabbit hole I said I couldn’t afford.
typing that behaves like writing. parts of it feel surprisingly natural, parts are still rough around the edges. either way, the results are getting interesting. i’m getting a text editor up so others can test it

spent some time today to build a personal site. details everywhere for those who notice
azzamlehyani.com
building a guest book for agents. they visit a site, leave a note on what they took, and maybe tell their human they can sign it too
we're not being creative enough with ai. i get why it's polarizing, but most of us are still using it like a tool when we should be approaching it like a kid with a new toy
my manager told me there's two kinds of designers, simplifiers and complexifiers. i didn't need to ask which one i was
here’s another experiment that almost took me down a rabbit hole i can’t afford right now
“if this finds you” makes handwritten fonts feel more human on screen. what if we took it further and made typing itself feel more like writing?
if you know a design engineer who geeks out over this kind of shit, tag them. the code is already in the open source github below, so anyone can run with it
the pendulum is about to swing back. brand designers will be the key players product designers have been for the last decade
almost at 1,000 followers. numbers aside, it's given me a moment to reflect. i've made a lot of real connections here and i'm so grateful for that
i joined robinhood a few months ago and started posting here around the same time, and both have been so good for me creatively. i'm building more than i probably ever have, coming off a bit of a design hiatus while freelancing, and being around the design community on here has been so energizing
right now i'm juggling my day job with personal projects like mini, trove and rueca. everything i post here is side work, mostly experiments, and almost always rough around the edges. that's kind of the point. you'll see things while they're still being figured out, not after they're polished. if that's your thing, stick around. there's a lot more coming
