This October, I've had the honor of making the gameplay trailer for Mann Versus Zombies. I have not had this much fun playing a video game in ages. The team is full of extremely talented and awesome people!

The Deadlock team also provided some interesting stats:
- Big Turnout: Over 110 Million votes were cast over the course of the event.
- Narrow Victory: The closest contest was Baba vs Solomon, decided by a nearly 0.5% difference in votes.
- Oracle: Only 847 players voted in every round, and only voted for that round's eventual winner.
- Unlucky: 36,236 players voted in every round, and never once picked that round's winner.
- Dedication: 22,194 players exclusively voted for Nurse Harrow. One player cast exactly 1000 votes for her.
- Highly Effective: Nurse Harrow voters consistently proved to have a higher win rate over all other hero voters.

Ben Affleck says he spent 3 years at home playing StarCraft after becoming famous
“There was a game called StarCraft that probably took the most life out of me for a period of time. I had just got famous and all I did was stay home for three years and play StarCraft”
“I love Valorant. It's a great game. The problem with that game is that with kids that have been raised playing, I just get f**king rocked. I'm like, ‘Are you f**king cheating?’ And I get mad. It's very humiliating”
“I love 2K. I love Madden. And the early Doom, when I first played that game, which then gave rise to Quake. We played that endlessly for hours when we were doing Good Will Hunting. I remember writing and taking these long breaks to play Doom”

It's true.
The truth is starting any competitive game is hard, but you should play Deadlock/whatever game you want because you love it and it's worth the time invested to learn it. Deadlock (and fighting games) respect the time you put into them and reward you for mastery.
