Audi 1 already equiped with Dolby Atmos got a Magnova screen with non-DCI server. This means no 2k, 4k, Hollywood content.
@UFOMoviez just throwing in some cheap substandard protocol which happily showed Ramayana at 1080p 24fps !

#RamayanaPart1 ROARS IN TN & KERALAM! REGIONAL BOX-OFFICE RAGE! 🔥
Special Report: The biggest Diwali box-office surprise in Tamil Nadu and Keralam is undoubtedly #RamayanaPart1!
Defying expectations, the Hindi version is rocking national multiplexes and PLF screens, while the Tamil and Malayalam versions are drawing impressive crowds across regional multiplexes and single screens!
As per trade estimates, Ramayana (all versions) is projected to gross around ₹20 crore in Tamil Nadu and ₹11 crore in Keralam over the four-day Diwali weekend! Numbers that are on par with the opening of any major regional hits!
What’s even more remarkable? Ramayana started with the least number of screens and shows among the big-ticket Diwali releases. But by Day 3 (November 7), the film is not just adding screens and shows but also pushing for the biggest auditoriums in theatre complexes!
In Chennai, PVR INOX’s prestigious IMAX and PXL screens are screening the Tamil version at 6 AM, with shows running full! From Monday, post-Diwali, another 50 screens are expected to be added.
In Keralam, the film has opened big even in Muslim-dominated pockets of Malabar! Palaxi Cinemas, Perinthalmanna (Malappuram), is witnessing packed houses, while Apsara, Kozhikode, Kerala’s biggest single screen, is reporting a houseful late-night show!
The big game-changer? Strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews from Tamil and Malayalam online reviewers, giving this epic a massive boost.
From a cautious start to a box-office roar, #RamayanaPart1 is scripting a remarkable Diwali success story in the South! 🔥

Magnova is UFO’s import of CINITY/HeyLED. Yet to confirm specs but this cinema previously had Atmos & good sized screens. Regardless, a new LED is always a win.

I'll bitch about this until the day I die — Not including the 3D Blu-ray in this "Collector's Edition" is a massive fumble. That being said, these collector's editions are definitely worth owning because of the film quality and how packed the special features are.
Available December 8th!

A guide for choosing 3D venue
Just a reminder "realD" doesn't automatically mean better 3D quality, projector bulb matters more.
Imax xenons are the only venues still using Linear polarized 3D, rest all in tier B, C and D use some variation of circular polarized 3D.

Mystery solved, according to barco themselves not all xenon installations are 2K, some of them are actually 4K and there are too many proofs to ignore now
We need to stop calling imax xenon as 2K ig 🤣

Dolby Cinema - I LOVE YOU
#Ramayana part (Tel)
75 feet of absolute visual treat. The Dolby Vision grade was is so damn good.
The 3D content is solid and add DV grade & Dolby 3D - it's super bright. The 4K 3D DCP isn't the sharpest but it is surely sharper than regular 2K 3D DCPs.
The flat content is super immersive, it really enhances the overall experience. Since the film was entirely shot in 1.90, you're not missing out on any details.
I'm not nitpicking on every minute detail because the visual grandeur and the lovely grade are something you don't get to see everyday.

#Ramayana… the sheer scale of the film and the visuals on the big screen are spectacular to watch.
Ranbir as Rama, especially from the Vanavasam onwards, is serene yet magnificent. Yash brings a menacing presence as Ravana, while Sai Pallavi is graceful as Sita. The pre-climax and climax… loved every bit of it.
Congratulations @malhotra_namit, @niteshtiwari22 and the entire team on bringing such an ambitious vision so beautifully to the screen. 🙏

Walked into Namit Malhotra’s #Ramayana w/o many expectations, came back impressed with “Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana”, shining brightest in its grounded scenes, emotional depth, faithfulness & Zimmer’s outstanding score. Sharing all the unfiltered thoughts I had. (1/5)
