For years, network throttling meant slowing down everything at once. That’s not how real users experience the web. Often, only one API, image, or third-party script is slow.
Now, Chrome DevTools lets you throttle individual network requests.
This unlocks more realistic performance testing:
🌀 Simulate a slow API without affecting the whole page
🌀 Debug third-party dependencies in isolation
🌀 Test loaders, retries, and layout shifts more accurately
