Today we're announcing Ember 4.0! 🎉 Ember 4.0 doesn't bring a big new feature. Instead, we're removing already-deprecated APIs not used in modern Ember apps. We also dropping support for Internet Explorer in 4.0. Read on: blog.emberjs.com/ember-4-0-r…

Ember-try is something it seems like no other ecosystem has. Not #reactjs Not #vuejs Not #svelte Not #angular Ember-try makes it easy to, by default, test various dependencies and configurations.. usually no config is needed by the library author. #emberjs #javascript
Shout out to @katiegengler for ember-try, a great tool that keeps addons healthy and tested even after many years of upgrades. #EmberJS

Pro-tip: every time you get a two-factor SMS message, add the number to a single contact as a catch-all for all 2FA SMS. That way all their texts combine into a single feed and your recent messages list can remain tidy.

It's not just our framework that has been modernized, our website has been too! Visit emberjs.com/ to see the phase 1 of the new website design. Please report any issues at github.com/ember-learn/ember… (& be kind, real people worked very hard to make this idea happen!)

If you’ve seen articles advising you to turn off Intelligent Tracking Prevention in Safari, don’t do it. That is terrible advice. Even if we had no fix for the issues recently disclosed by Google, cookies are a way worse tracking vector than a flaw in ITP could ever be.

After spending a few years in college/contributing to @TryGhost using Ember.js, and then moving to working with React at Red Ventures, I think the built-in test functionality in Ember/Ember-CLI is something that's seriously understated.
