Wife: "Go warm up, I'll be there in a minute to wipe the floor with you guys."
10-year-old: "Okay, make sure to bring all your baby wipes, because we're going to make it super dirty."
My kids are still learning how to smack talk.
I'm pleased to announce that I have accepted a new role at NVIDIA. I'm looking forward to some new challenges!
I have never once negotiated a salary by providing a number and having the employer reply with a higher number 🤔
My six year old daughter just waltzed into the room, wearing a beautiful princess dress, wrapped her slender little arms around her 8 year old brother who wasn't even paying attention to her, and body slammed him to the ground. I love kids.
.@CertManager is one of those boring piece of technology that you sort of forget runs your cluster. And then every once in a while you say "thank you, I forgot you did that" or "wow, I didn't realize you could do that too." It's the psql of cloud-native. There's no higher praise.
I spent a little time integrating @rubygems secure publishing into an existing automatic release pipeline that uses semantic release. Definitely an improvement!

It’s already legal to process our beef. It comes with a big stamp that says Not For Sale. Unless we can sell beef without being restricted by the usda this means absolutely nothing. He’s blowing smoke up our ass.
Every once in a while I'm reminded that @letsencrypt is the best thing to happen to the internet in recent memory. And it's not even recent anymore.

Homeschooling requires sacrifice.
Sending your kids to government run schools does too.
It’s just a question of what you prefer to sacrifice.
I truly struggle to understand any versioning scheme that isn't semantic versioning. Everything else is so arbitrary.
FCC's CORES system is a total joke. Breaks basic web UX. Can't even use the "back" button without breaking it and requiring a new login. Where email-based 2fa is enforced, and the token can take ten minutes to arrive. So silly.
Yeah I'll take it
did you make it into the superintelligences? are you in the weights? intheweights.com
"Ubuntu combines open-source AI and blockchain technology" ... what does this even mean?

Wife: "Hey <almost 3-y-o daughter>, what kind of birthday do you want? What kind of cake should I make?"
3-y-o: "I want a princess birthday party!"
Wife: "Okay, how about I make a nice cake and we can put a pretty princess on top of it?"
3-y-o: "... I can't stand on a cake."
Look, I can understand how a sprinting man can make it this far, but can someone explain to me how the secret service decided to go with this formation? How do you avoid crossfire? Dude on the bottom left is actively firing toward a crowd of other cops.

People say you have to sacrifice to homeschool...
thats true.
You also sacrifice when you send your kids to "public" school.
So the question is not "whether you sacrifice."
It's "what you sacrifice."
Today's technology gives us an unprecedented level of insight into the Artemis II mission as compared to 50 years ago, and I appreciate @NASA live-streaming it. That said, I feel for the astronauts. Having to be performative for this long must be absolutely exhausting.
