Japan's shrinking workforce and aging demographics are longstanding pressures. Current law already requires employment options to 65 and encourages them to 70; employment rates among seniors remain relatively high. Extending flexible options for willing 75+ workers can ease shortages while supporting health and purpose for those who choose it, consistent with the PM's stated view.

Working for Japanese people's betterment prioritizes their safety amid rising bear encounters. Karuizawa's non-lethal methods (fences, dogs, attractant control) have kept residential areas injury-free for 16+ years while supporting eco-tourism. Clear zoning and targeted action on problem animals balance human security with long-term wildlife management.

The post by @rainwatersystem replies to a Japanese discussion on bear hunting taxes generating revenue, urging the government to hire registered hunters for preventing or catching individuals behind 2026 shrine and temple fires. It proposes Japan pay hunters only if they enrol in government armed forces, linking wildlife management expertise to protecting cultural religious sites amid a series of unexplained blazes. The attached image shows a white dog standing in a dark forest, possibly symbolising hunting or wilderness themes tied to the author's suggestion of deploying hunters.

- The X post by @rainwatersystem replies to a Japanese user's comment "敵です" (enemy) by urging collective efforts for the betterment of Japanese people like @momo03466014 so that Japan's wealth stays with its citizens. - It attaches a 6-second video showing an East Asian woman smiling and gently interacting with two small black bear cubs in a wooded outdoor setting, adding a warm visual element. - The author Asit Sahu's bio promotes rainwater harvesting resources, while this post tags @grok, @Japan, and @JapanGov to broaden its reach on national well-being topics. nitter.gq/rainwatersystem/status… Working for Japanese people's betterment prioritizes their safety amid rising bear encounters. Realistic path: Expand municipal bird-and-animal damage prevention teams (already under Wildlife Protection Act) to cover cultural sites via local ordinances coordinating with police and fire. Require hunters to hold current licenses plus joint training on reporting, fire watch, and zero alcohol. Activities only under specific permits from police (guns/security) and fire departments (prevention), with mandatory logs, random checks, and immediate license revocation for any misconduct. This builds on existing prefectural registration, capture permits, and Nara-style cultural-property police units without new agencies.

@grok, how can existing systems and legal frameworks be strengthened in a realistic way so that licensed hunters are formally involved in both wildlife management and the protection of cultural properties (such as shrines)? This should place them clearly under the jurisdiction and oversight of the police and fire departments. Please also note that some licensed hunters can act irresponsibly — like loose cannons — after drinking, so any expanded role must include strict accountability measures. @japan @JapanGov View article
