🚨How I knew Jesus Christ Was A Fictional Character. I used to be a Christian. I believed Jesus was unique, divine, died for our sins and rose from the dead. Then I started asking questions. I learned that Christianity wasn't the first religion to tell stories about gods who died, descended to the underworld or returned to life. Osiris. Tammuz. Adonis. Dionysus. Different cultures had their own stories of divine beings, death and renewal long before Christianity. That made me question something: If humans had already been telling supernatural resurrection stories for centuries, why assume the Jesus story must be the one true version? Then I read the Bible more critically. The contradictions, unanswered questions and lack of convincing independent evidence for its supernatural claims made me reconsider what I had been taught. I didn't wake up one day and decide, “Divine Jesus is fictional.” I questioned the claim. And the more I questioned it, the less convinced I became that the supernatural Jesus of Christianity actually existed. Question everything. Especially what you were taught never to question.
