a lot of the energy spent arguing on here could be better exhausted putting the idea in a story. assume it happens, regardless of textual validity, and create from there. i’ve read many wonderfully constructed, moving fics built atop premises w/ which i would typically take issue

It is absolutely not a sexual fantasy. she’s established as a character that is completely removed from sexuality AND binary. It’s sexual for LESTAT who cannot separate mother figure from Gabrielle the individual. That’s not his fault but it also shouldn’t water gabrielle down.

throughout the season I did notice that even though her wardrobe remained repetitive, she deliberately does adopt a more feminine or provocative style whenever she wants to make him obey her, like 3.1 compared to 3.7. so when he’s gone I definitely think her costuming will change

it's so icky that the takeaway from 3x3 is that lestat is a serial cheater and everyone ignores the armand sized elephant in the room when lestat and nicki were the krabby patty secret formula that he used on louis and claudia too.
