DAY 15 – HALLOWEEN PART 1
HALLOWEEN IS NEAR… Throwback to when Carter could barely keep Adrian at an appropriate distance with the help of a bowl of candy corn.
STAY TUNED FOR TOMORROW where we reveal a comic in the new book based off this picture!

DAY 16 – ARH Skytrain Short
Continuing my showcase of things locked deep inside my brain and hard-drive – brings the appearance of our first (and only) SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE. This December 2011 four page comic was featured in our friends’ online BL Magazine WhutNani.

DAY 18 – Adrian’s Intro🎶
Adrian is introduced at the end of the first chapter. His first encounter with Carter at Local Bookstore is a memory that is not easy to forget! The text boxes in the old version in particular were Not It.

DAY 19 – Carter’s Introduction ♣
Carter is introduced on the 4th page of Always Raining Here! These pages were initially the very first pages of the comic, but we added the flash forward pages with Adrian for some narrative suspense!

DAY 17 – Our first Book
Pictured is the first book cover we ever made! It was inspired by the BL manga I was reading at the time (and that initially inspired us to make ARH). The book is thin and floppy, but it was an achievement we accomplished only 6 months after starting ARH.

DAY 20 - THE BEGINNING
Have you ever wanted to make a webcomic? That was Bell and I in Jan 2011.
Sitting together in Bell's bedroom, a proposal to make a webcomic immediately sparked both of us into motion. Bell considered herself a hobby writer, and I was an unsure artist.

The idea came quickly; Bell wrote up 3 initial prompts and I picked the one I liked best. It featured the characters that would soon become Adrian and Carter from Always Raining Here!
Please enjoy some of these ancient sketches and concept art of these boys.

So Always Raining Here is coming out soon...anyone want to meet us at a book signing?
