our efficiency is getting to the point where so many replies think we must be nerfing the model we're not - we run it the same way deepseek does. we'll have them certify that soon doesn't meant we don't have issues, if you can share a detailed bad experience it helps us fix things

If you’re using DeepSeek harness with Command Code’s provider API, we are shipping several updates to make your experience better and faster. DeepSeek harness needs more than a standard chat completions endpoint. I’m excited to pass along our learnings and improvements we have made here without y’all having to do anything on your end. LFG!!

From recognizing text to understanding documents. 📄 Meet Xiaomi-OCR-0, an open-source document understanding model with just 0.8B parameters. It brings document parsing, key information extraction, and OCR-oriented visual question answering into one lightweight model. It scores 95.24 on Real5-OmniDocBench and 83.2 on average across five OCR-oriented VQA benchmarks. On OmniDocBench v1.6, Xiaomi-OCR-0 ranks first in document parsing performance among models with fewer than 1B parameters. Model weights, inference code, an interactive demo, MCP service, and Agent Skill are now open source. 👇 🤗 Huggingface: huggingface.co/xiaomi-resear… 🔗 GitHub: github.com/xiaomi-research/X… 📄 Demo: huggingface.co/spaces/loongw… #XiaomiAI #OCR #OpenSource

Someone is putting the law of every country into one git history. Git for Global Law turns each country's laws into a repository where every commit is a real law taking effect. So you can see exactly what the law said on any date, and which law changed every word. It started with the US Code, which hit #1 on Hacker News. The global version is growing country by country: Germany's constitution since 1949, Estonia and more so far. Free to use for anything, and perfect for feeding to an AI. github.com/lexifina/global-l…

If this is what has employees at Proton in revolt, they're in for a rough ride as the age of agents unfold. There is nothing scandalous in this memo. It's hilarious that 404 is treating it as such.

That is good to hear, organizations need to be taking the coming CVE storm seriously, and it is only going to get worse still... And if anyone needs help, let me know, I've geared up my company (@CtrlIQ) to provide and secure the infrastructure you need!
Wow. Heard from one recruiter that there are over 40 CISO jobs in the Bay Area alone. That's 4-10x where things generally are.

understanding why there's no good native desktop apps on linux it's like trying to serve 30 different platforms, combinatorial explosion of setups but exactly the type of thing agents enable

Your coding agents are fast now. The problem? They can move just as fast in the wrong direction. Miss one update, and they can spend days building the wrong thing - costing you tokens and engineering time. That's why devs are still glued to their monitors. Meet Serro: the Agentic TPM. It keeps your people and coding agents working from the same evolving program. 👇 @serroai
