The Mormons are dismantling the 2nd best team in the country as they did the 2nd person of the Trinity.
If you don’t think churches need a plurality of elders to lead. Please watch the new Netflix documentary called “Death of a Pastor’s Wife.”
This documentary doesn’t exist without an egomaniacal master pastor with no accountability.
"We need more churches"
I hear this A LOT. But it's incorrect.
The truth is that "we need more good churches."
There are a plethora of churches even in the smallest of towns. Our desire shouldn't be for more of the same American status quo evangelical church.
What do the churches in a given city believe? What do they teach? Do they preach the gospel? Are they serving the needy? Are they evangelizing?
I'd vote for less soft, unfaithful, gospel-less, and gospel-only churches AND more good, healthy, faithful churches.
Switching out "we need more churches" to "we need more good churches" will do two things:
(1) It will cause a church to be very selective on who they send to plant.
(2) It will cause a church to just as easily, if not more easily, consider re-planting or revitalization to planting.

Planned Parenthood’s latest annual report:

• Abortions: 434,450
One adoption referral for every 143 abortions.
I shaved off my beard of six years yesterday and met my actual face.
Verdict: the beard was doing a LOT of unpaid labor.
I’m not a soccer guy, but it’s a big game so I’m watching the US play.
Man… the flopping, the grabbing the ankle rolling on the ground when literally no one touched you. I hate that part of this sport. So much acting. It’s like a whole field full of LeBrons.
Amount of time I listen to Toby Keith in a year:
364 days of the year- 0 minutes

There are at least five different versions of Jesus being preached in America right now.
None of them can save you.
🧵
This Jesus doesn't merely affirm you.
He says:
"Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me."
He declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."
He died because sin is real and will destroy us.
He rose because death was defeated.
And He's coming again.
Christians, I promise, we can disagree on tertiary issues and still respect each other, pray for each other, and root for each other.
Christians for the last 2,000 years pointing to the empty tomb when asked for evidence for our faith.
