This past June, 7 yr old Ryan & his 3 yr old sister Kaitlyn Chliek lost their father, Matt to brain cancer. Throughout his treatments, Matt would bring Ryan to #isles games, where they shared a special bond. Today, Jon Ledecky & friends gave Ryan a surprise visit
and if young #isles fans want to see him play they have a chance next Saturday afternoon. All they have to do is give up trick or treating!
Connor McDavid has 31 points in 10 games. More than half of the teams in the NHL - 17 - have scored 31 total goals or fewer. He's on pace for 254 points. There's no more dominant athlete in sports.

Nice to be @deltacenter. At each @utahmammoth home game, I'm going to help @jamkancer by hosting someone affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Email andersjam@jamkancerinthekan & let us know how cancer has affected you & we'll bring you to a game!
Can't wait to Jam in Utah #tusksup
Brutal goal to give up when you’re so close to grabbing a very good point. #isles
Baseball is dying to rid themselves of baseball fans. It’s wild.
MLB's Arizona Fall League is experimenting with rules that regulate the positioning of outfielders in an effort to increase the number of balls in the gap.
Outfielders under these rules are playing closer to the lines than normal, creating much bigger swaths of grass in the alleyways in left-center and right-center field.
FanGraphs was first to report the news.

I don't like change and have always enjoyed 162 game season but i could get behind this but i wouldn't want anything less than 154 games. Getting rid of weekday postseason games is a big win for fans.
MLB is proposing returning to a 154-game Regular Season and best-of-seven Division Series
ALT Schedule Changes Beginning in 2029, MLB proposes return to 154-game season and 7-game division series as part of salary cap and floor system. 154-Game Regular Season - Would return to 154-game schedule with a standard off day every week. Which Enables Best-Of-7 Division Series - Would expand the Division Series from best-of-five to best-of-seven, potentially adding up to 8 more Postseason games. More Prime Time Postseason Games - Would add additional off days in Postseason to reduce weekday daytime Postseason games, while giving pitchers extra rest.
