Hey @IsraelMFA @, I know you know- but here’s a fun fact for @Israel citizens: Bosnian muslims didn’t only volunteer to fight for the Islamic State and Hamas in the 2000s- they have long a history of killing Jews in the Balkans AND in the Middle East.

US ambassador in Zagreb Peter Galbright had a point when later he declared that “without Srebrenica, there would have been no Operation Storm.”
Evidence that in July of 1995 most Srebrenica related deaths were combat and not execution related would have undermined gravely the coherence of the official Srebrenica narrative. As in 2000, Serbs have been sold a bill of goods. Now, as then, slick salesmen made sure to run a campaign that avoided addressing any of the difficult issues Serbia is facing. Just get rid of Miloševiċ or Vučiċ, and everything will be great!
For example: It seems like only yesterday that we were told that Serbia's new rulers would never in a million years impose sanctions against Russia. They would be more pro-Russian than Vučiċ. Yet, in response to RFE's repeated questioning on this matter, the apparent "leader" of the Student List, Ilija Srdanoviċ, refused to commit himself.
He announced that "All questions concerning international relations must be addressed through open dialogue among our citizens. These policies cannot be shaped by a single individual."
It was a strange response for a would-be leader, particularly as he also declared that "A large number of citizens have been confined to a restricted media environment in which they have been fed falsehoods for more than a decade and a half.
"As a result, they do not even fully understand the EU's agenda. Many of our citizens are simply uninformed."
OK, so it will be up to the people, the people will decide. But the people are also too uninformed to decide anything. Your cue, @vonderleyen.
We have been through this so many times before. Serbia's new rulers have no clue about anything because they are not really going to be running anything. They have nothing to say beyond invocation of vacuous platitudes: rferl.org/a/serbia-srdanovic…
In spite this- Israel was one of the first countries to recognize the illegal secession of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which has been a gray-zone harboring islamist terrorism since 1992.

Having volunteered for the 23. SS Handchar unit in the Balkans, to slaughter primarily Serbs but also the local Jews and Roma, Bosnian muslim SS units surrendered to the Brits at the end of the WW2, and ended up in prisoner camps in Italy.
