RIKUSON 👀
Working as strategist Lakan's aide, his visual skill to remember people & faces contrast with his master's inability to do so… 🎭
He really cares about Maomao, but helping + protecting her might imply some “sacrifices” right? ‼️
Hey, you know… it really IS a great detective anime, one of the best in recent years, I have been thinking that lately and I'm happy to see I'm not the only one 😉
Sorry to say: but everyone that swiftly answers that, without asking your previous favourites, present mood, fav genres, or even beloved series/movies/books… might give you answers tailored for THEM, not for YOU.
X/Twitter roaring on yet another Netflix anime getting the "binge-it-all" treatment, instead of a weekly episode release.
Fact is: non-weekly anime is typically less noticed + generates less coverage on social.
WHY does Netflix keep doing that then? 🤷🏻♂️

Yes, probably just up to early 4th volume,—for sure the first three based on the last teaser…
12 episodes might be enough to get to mid VOL.4 and introduce the new arc until the "explosion" or so, but who knows —if they expand it well, that might not be necessary.
It's awesome sci-fi horror, you can read it for free on mangaplus by Shueisha (except some countries)

I might agree on most of those.
Maomao (considered from the POV of a detective/apothecary and NOT as a female overall character) for me is quite solid too, but I'm curious on your motives for "demoting" her.
Well, we have a role to play, they butchered also Love Through a Prism this year doing the same thing, true.
Kills the momentum.
Our civic duty is to comment an episode each week and make them rethink their strategy.
You're right a weekly schedule does wonders for any show. Netflix stubbornnes on doing this to anime shows shows a complete lack of interest and knowledge about how the social media & promotion works nowadays.
They don't want to create any promotional weekly PVs or anything…
And CONFIRMED…!! 🔴

The next #FireflyWedding episode promises us confessions, fireflies, past reflections, tenderness, chibi characters and... some blood spilled also.

Interesante que en Francia puedan crear una edición especial con tantos extras por menos de 35€, aquí es impensable y en parte porque hay mucha menos venta y público, nos guste o no admitirlo.
Eso y que falta arriesgar un poco más por las editoriales.

LAHAN 🦊
The adopted son of strategist Lakan, which makes him… Maomao's “brother”!?
A man with a similar fox-like attitude (and face) as his father, but far better with numbers 🧮
Jinshi said once he looks like a "male Maomao"⁉️
