In hindsight, my last tweet was super tone deaf and pretty ignorant and also just another reason I should always read more before I post. Def reinforced that it’s always good to think deeper than “har har this is funny lemme share”. Lesson learned.
This is partly why the "vaccination advocacy rap" feels so gross to me.

Welp not all of my candidates won, but I’m thrilled to have a more diverse city council! It was really exciting to follow campaigns, get to know the candidates, and feel MEGA EXCITED about voting in a local election. It was a wild ride, now let’s get to work!
